Likes

First of all when I came for class I liked faculty very much. They are very supportive.
I like greenery around the college where we get peace and intrest for study.
I like infrastructure and placement opportunities here.

Dislikes

Our college is far from the banglore city and we face transportation difficulty.
When compared to other colleges our campus is small to explore.
Day to day expenses are more as they charge more for food and study related materials inside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college curriculum is same as other autonomous colleges across banglore. But they included many things in the curriculum like real time projects and many things which helps for our progress in our course and to get placed.

Internships Opportunities

As i am in the 1st year of my course I don't know much about internships here but I come across many seniors where they said our college provide good internship opportunities which helps to get placed and to gain knowledge.

Placement Experience

In our college placements are good compared to other colleges. The average package in our college is around 6.5 lpa. They provide internship opportunities as well. If I don't get placed in the college I decided to write the gate and to join mtech.

Fees and Financial Aid

As i am joined through kcet my total fees for 4 years is around 400000. Government of Karnataka provides scholarship along with our college. Our college lack providing employment opportunities inside the campus.

Campus Life

I have mixed openion on my college life. Here we have many departments and streams. By which we can build our network among many people. Here we have many clubs like dance, sports, literature, environment and many. Here we have great infrastructure and assistance.

Admission

The admission process is bit not good. As i admitted through kcet where I got ranking around 8800. Here many things should be done by the students like scanning the documents, documents entry and all. I don't like that many steps in the admission.

Faculty

The first thing which I liked here is our faculty. They are good and student friendly. They are highly qualified and well behaved. They support to the student progress in the academics and other extra curricular activities.

Other Applied Colleges

When compared to that college here we have better college life as we have many departments and streams so that we can build our network. And when compared to that here we have high placement opportunities.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
