Course Curriculum Overview
Electronics and communication is an evergreen branch and it provides enough opportunities to go for tech placements as well. Our course curriculum is composed of core courses, foundational courses and elective courses. Core courses are branch specific and foundational courses are common to all branches. Elective courses are the courses that you can take as per your choice, they can be courses of a different branch as well.
Internships Opportunities
Only 10-15% students get internships in our college. Internships are offered from the start of third year or sixth semester. Girls have an upper hand in internships as most of the companies allow only girls to apply for internships.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students become eligible for placements. Texas instruments, Qualcomm, samsung are some on the companies that visit our college. The average package for ECE branch was around 14 lpa this year and median was around 15 lpa. 60% students were placed only. The average package for tech related branches was around 16lpa and around 65% students were placed from these branches.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee remains almost the same throughout the four years . 234000 is the fee for one year and complete cost for four years for btech will be roughly around 920000. Prime minister scholarship is available for wards of Central government employees and there is also scholarship for wards of army personnels.
Campus Life
There are two technical fests and one cultural fest. Our cultural fest MOKSHA is generally held in the month of March . We have digital, well furnished ac classrooms. Annual sports fest is also held , generally I'm the month of February. There are numerous clubs or societies in our college.
Admission
Admissions are based on jee mains crl. Jee mains is conducted by nta. You can get all the details regarding jee mains on their website. The cutoff for electronics and communication branch is generally around 25k rank. The closing rank for ECE branch in 2023 was 29k.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is around 1:80 but that doesn't have much impact on learning experience. We have to contact our cr (class representative) to relay our queries to the faculty when she is not present in the classroom else we can directly resolve our queries when she is there in the classroom.
