AIT - An engineering college for army wards

The college provides BE and Btech degree, so considering that I'll say the the course is more theoretical that practical but ofcourse you'll have ample time to work on your practical knowledge considering the facilities that the college provides.

The internship opportunities are good enough. You'll need decent projects and knowledge to get them. Having good contacts with the seniors would be helpful for guidance and refferals. Your cgpa matters as well.

The campus placement are good. You'll find good companies coming into the college for offering placement.The package soar upto 36lacs too but the average package would be 12lacs. 90 percent of the students do get placed.

The tution fee and also the overall fee it quite high considering the same for other colleges. But since the college is not funded from any other sources it has to make most of its budget from the fees it gets. Talking about scholarship opportunities - they're huge . A student can get atleast one scholarship from the very first year and specially for the girl students it's a scholarship heaven.

The college has 30+ clubs. The clubs in the college are very active and you'll get to learn a lot from these. You'll get to meet and make friends here and bond with the seniors. You'll learn how to go about a task and learn many essential management skills along with lots of fun and treats. You'll find all kind of sports facilities over here as per your interest.

The hostel facilities are decent enough. Not too good not too bad. You'll feel comfortable once you start bonding with you roommate and senior. It is compulsory for all the first year students to live in the campus itself. One can live outside from the second year onwards it they like.

The admission process was easy enough. One can find all the information regarding admissions in the college website. From there you'll be directed promptly. The college takes admission based on your jee mains percentile but only for army wards. The lowest cutoff I think would be 85 percentile to get into the college offcourse of you work hard you can upgrade your branch after the first year based upon your marks and availability of seats. No reservations are there based upon your caste or other criteria.

The faculties are well qualified and helpful as well when it comes to teaching. You'll find here professors with multiple PHds; They are easy to approach; However you might find the first year faculties boring when it comes to their approach at teaching the subject.
