AIT Pune - Every detail you need to know before taking admission

The faculty is really good. Most of the teachers are PHD level and others are pursing PhDs There are also double doctorate professors. The ratio of faculty to student is 1:62 per class. The term exams are based on the SPPU curriculum as AIT is directly under the university

I am a first year student and has yet not received any internships but my seniors from second year onwards are working in various companies and NGOs as interns and are paid handsomely. Some third years are also working as interns in Huge companies like Microsoft, and even in Europe.

Placement of the college is phenomenal compare to other local colleges in Pune The average, even during this recession time is 14 lakhs per Annum With over 98% placed. Hundreds of companies like Google Microsoft Cred Deusch bank come every year to the campus. AIT also have a very rich culture of start-ups with phenomenal start-ups like Ud chalo, Stumato etc. My plan after my degree is also to go for a start-up.

as it is a private college, the fees is higher than most of the government colleges. It's around three lakhs for a year with a hike of around 25,000 per year. There are also lots of scholarship opportunities and we are well aware of them through our seniors, we can also apply for financial Assistance through the college

The social life at campus is really good. The senior junior bond is very much in favour of the junior and have them a lot to prepare in various fields like coding, soft skill development etc. The tech and annual fest are really great and a lot of people from around the city come to it and it is an overall Great opportunity for the students to mingle with others. The library facility is really good. We have reading halls and great number of books and a really great online system to reissue your book. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors and all the necessary things. Compare to other colleges in Pune. The sports facilities are excellent with 3 Basketball courts, one cricket ground, one football ground, one lawn tennis court, 2 badminton courts, 4 squash courts and many more. There are a total of around 30 clubs run by students in College, each better than the other. AIT also hosts, the biggest student led hackathon in India called INNERVE

Compare to other private colleges. The mess facilities are really good and the quality of food is also very good. They provide a total of three meals a day plus snacks during the evening. The host rooms are also really good and tidy. The hostel from second year onwards is allotted on merit and Attendance basis

The admission is based on JEE mains score. There is no reservation of any kind except reservation of 2 students per class for J&K students. All the details regarding admission process and admission forms are available on the AIT website
