Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is very good and I am pretty happy that I selected this course at this university. The courses have all the new modern world things that will prepare us for the upcoming future like writing blog posts, making a podcast, creating photo stories and stuff, and most importantly writing research and many other things. They can improve by modernizing a bit more and advancing with a few more technological stuff in the university. The exam difficulty is on the mark for people studying in their respective years.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The internship opportunities are that the college has a course where it is compulsory for us to take an internship and it's a very useful thing for our future as it provides experience in the workplace.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very student-friendly and financially helpful as they have different fee structures for the ST/SC groups and the cost of living and having an education is pretty affordable. The hostel mess fees for the boys and hostel are 3k and 2.5k for the girls. There are many scholarships we can apply but not all are exclusive to our university.

Campus Life

4.5

The overall campus experience has been great the clubs are very active as we have a music teacher for our music club and instruments for our students to use and the film club does a movie once or twice a week and the other poetry clubs and all perform poetry on functions and stuff it's a pretty good atmosphere.

Admission

The eligibility of the course was looked upon by our CUET marks and the availability of our documents. The cutoff might be a bit difficult to say as the percentile might vary but the cutoff is pretty similar to other BA courses of central universities but the number of seats is less.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty members are quite qualified and the teaching staff is very friendly and helpful to students. The faculty-to-student ratio is like 1:7 and my learning experience so far has been great. The teachers are approachable at around any time, they are free and they are very student-friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was not my actual mind to opt my major which is history, since it was hard to find open colleges late I had to adjust to it. It might be better since I had a habit of remembering things that are upto no use in the present or maybe better for securing jobs as it is quite in needy in these aspects. It's still not very clear in my part but it partially taught us the basics It gives us 3 hours of time per paper and it's not very different or very hard because it has been always the same pattern along with the portions

The course is quite vast. But it only consisted of three subjects for my batch before NEP. We only have Western music, Hindustani classical music and regional music. But courses with NEP has a lot. And not just focuses on music but extras too.

The way they prepare the question is the main reason for me to choose this college. They really provide not only bookish knowledge but also how to deal with the real world. The examination that they conduct are very reasonable because they give us the amount of time that a normal students need to be prepared for an examination. So I think it's quite reasonable and nice.

I would rate an 8 because curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for the grade and a timeline to follow so the syllabus will be completed. Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information

NEHU syllabus is quite good I should say, especially with the introduction of the NEP(New Education Policy) Well regarding the curriculum, I would say the teachers play and important part regarding that situation. However, exams or tests are becoming quite a headache for the students compared to the duration of our courses
