Course Curriculum Overview
NEHU syllabus is quite good I should say, especially with the introduction of the NEP(New Education Policy) Well regarding the curriculum, I would say the teachers play and important part regarding that situation. However, exams or tests are becoming quite a headache for the students compared to the duration of our courses
Fees and Financial Aid
As far as I am concerned, our fees in each semester range from 12-13k per semester, with an exam fee of 1.6k per month to be paid for each semester exam. There are scholarships for SC, and ST students. When it comes to scholarships and such, the information is being put up from time to time.
Campus Life
We did not get much campus like the other colleges and such, so it's quite small. However, the college had quite so many fun extra curricular activities conducted from time to time. The Library maintenance is good with a vast collection of books. I didn't know much about social groups run in the school however
Admission
I found the admission process quite convenient as it was done in online mode I find my admission form and everything from the official website of Shillong College itself. As I mentioned earlier, exams or tests are quite common in comparison to the courses.
Faculty
Well, in the overall aspects: The administration is not as good as expected. Information regarding anything from college is usually issued late at most times. However, the teaching faculty is still up to the mark, I am quite satisfied.
