non Ac class room...due to which there is suffocation in summers
there is too rush in morning because of improper transportation

i am good in coding and parctical subject which results to believe me in cse field. University teachers used to teach us well in every field... practical theoretical, professional skills , soft skills , communication skills and all . we have exams in every months known as unit test..and end semester examination in end of the semester.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 106000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

the tution fee varries on the basis of core courses and subject. University provides upto 100% scholarship to students on the basis of their skills and intelligence level..through a examination conduct known as cucet. they also provide scholarship on the basis of financial stability of a family to SC ST's. examination fees for courses is 2500 rs. only. according to 2022-2026 batch complete course fee including examination fee is :8.68 lakh rs. only it increases every year. campus is well known for its placement and also reward u with cash prices and medals with certificate on your achievements.

Campus Life

have thoroughly enjoyed acquainting myself with my lecturers and classmates. I've made some wonderful friends because everyone is very amiable and kind.There is 10-12 book of popular author of every subject in the library.Smart classroom with internet facility.There are many social groups and clubs in the university.

Admission

There is exam of cucat (addmission cum scholarship test) ,basis of this exam your scholarship and addmission is decided,almost everyone get addmission there is no such cut-off criteria.Cucat exam contain language part and core subject which course you choose.

1:70 teacher student ratio in theory class and 1:35 in practical class. high qualified teacher having phd's in their particular subject and they are topper of their degrees. teacher are too helpful and kind in nature...they always use to believe that students may get best from them.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
