To be honest there is no benefit doing bcom alone. One should do some other certified course with bcom. I am just doing bcom to complete my graduation. And there is semester system final exams are held in May and December and apart from this MSTs are held in April and November.

Tution fees is 10000 per year. And apart from it examination fee is to filled that is approx 3000 for December and April and approx 2500 admission fee for upcoming semester is to be filled. Hostel is given at very low prices approx 6000 for 6 months excluding mess charges which depend on number of meals person eat. Per meal charge is rs 40. Jobs are provided with a salary of approx 5000 to those who are not benefited by any scheme. Financial aid are provided to sc and St caste.

There are not any clubs or societies in our department. Cultural fest is held every year in February or March. In this year cultural fest named saanj took place which was a two day fest with star night and dj night. Students can take part in sports activities. In department library there are limited books but one can issue book from ac joshi library which is the main Libra of university.

The admission is on merit base. Highest merit goes to 99%. You can apply on official website of Panjab University Chandigarh. Reservation are given on basis of sports quota, ncc ,nss, rural area student, border area student, defence quota and many other. One must be 12th pas to be eligible for this course.

Faculty is well educated. Some of them are PhD scholars and teachers are very friendly with student. They also guide us in our career paths. Ofcourse some teachers are rude with students but if we behave properly they are good to us. They give us presentations to present in class which helps us to boost our confidence
