Likes

I especially like the faculty member, the expertise in their knowledge is totally commendable.
The overall environment of the college, it is a big campus and you can easily spend time with your friends somewhere peacefully.
The library and the librarian, he is quite friendly and helps us out with any kind of book suggestions.

Dislikes

There is no event, nothing. I have been in this college for 2 years now and there has been no fest. This is what a college student expects from their own college; is to have some kind events to show off their talent.

Course Curriculum Overview

I feel like our course is designed to strengthen our base of computer science and I enjoy learning more about each and every subject. Data Structure and DBMS is a very important part of recruitment and that part is covered well in this course.

Placement Experience

The college promises placement offers from companies like deloitte,tcs etc. However, this year I got to know from the seniors there has been no on-campus placement. They had to go for off-campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

For scholarships, you can always avail of SVMCM. For our year the fee structure is 52k per semester. Now that the courses are for 4 years, it is 56k. I don't have any idea about campus employment and I don't think there is any such opportunities.

Campus Life

There are 4 cultural clubs, singing, drama, dance, and fashion. There are no social or cultural events in our college except Agomoni held before Durga Puja. The Drama Club is very active and the fashion club is active.

Admission

My admission process was quite smooth as I got 91% in my ISC. It is required to get a minimum of 80% to get admission but as the days go by, you can take admission with 60% too with your CET rank. You need to rank within 2k for getting admission.

Faculty

I can vouch for my department that we have one of the best professors. The professors are quite helpful and understanding. Their teaching methods are very in-depth and conceptual. Though, I would say there are some who doesn't give quite the effort that is needed but overall, the faculty is too good and makes our learning experience better.

A Great Learning Experience with a Vibrant Campus Life

Course Curriculum Overview:

- The BCA cirrcuam at THE HERITAGE ACADEMY covers fundamental programming, Database management, and web development which are essential for a career in IT. - The syllabus is moderately relevant but some topics feel outdated. While programming and project based learning help in skill building more industry oriented course like AI, cloud computing, and Data science should be include. - Areas for improvement 1.more hands on training and internship opportunity should be introduced 2.Some subject focus too much on theory rather than practical application 3.Advanced technologies and industry trends should be integrated into the syllabus. Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA provides the students with theoretical knowledge and practical experience that helps them to go for various job possibilities in the sphere of computer application from handling projects to complex programming. A BCA degree prepares the students to deal with anything and everything. The student teacher ratio is 1:20. The teachers are very well. They always treat you like a friend. The student teacher bond is very good. They are highly qualified (P.hd /m.tech). The term exam is always on time even all the CA exams are always on time. University provides an Id and password where he/she can see their marks/ date of examination. The difficulty level is moderate not too easy / not too hard.

About my college

Remarks:

We have got good faculties. The teachers are very much friendly and helpful. Besides class one can get teachers guidance anytime. They help us with the upcoming trends. The environment is really good. The seniors are very nice and helpful. It has got two basketball court two football grounds.

I applied to Jadavpur University through their entrance exam, however i was not selected there due to my low scores in their entrance exam. Then through various research I found out about the course of BCA in internet, since I had taken a year drop I found it would be perfect for me.
