Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is just like other colleges. It is affiliated to RGPV. The syllabus is quite old school and needs to be updates, but this is the story with every other college. Practicals are actually performed by students and not just by faculties.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are quite decent in this college as compared to all the other colleges. Placements in departments like CS and IT are great. Even in ECE and EI departments, placements are quite good. For core branches, it is really hard for students to get placed in big companies

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee for the college classes has to be paid every semester, which is about Rs. 50000 for one semester for branches other than IT and BME branch. For IT and BME, fee is about 65000. Scholarships are available for students.

Campus Life

College does not provide great infrastructure, but the peers group in this college is hard working and enthusiast tin their works and studies. There are many social clubs in this college like techincal club, art and decor club, cultural and dance club, motorsports club and personality development club etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels facilities are not that good. Hostels are not that clean but are good enough to live. The mess food is too bad. Internet facilities are great. Students can use unlimited internet through LAN connection.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

Admission in SGSITS is done on the basis of score in JEE Mains Exam. Students can appear in MPDTE councelling to get admission in SGSITS college. Once done, students need to print allotment letter and take it to college campus for futher admission process.

Faculty

3.5

Senior faculties are well - experienced and have great knowledge in their respective subjects. Through junior faculties are kinda inexperienced but they still have atleast masters degrees in their respective subjects

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.

The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

I have applied to many nits and I got seat in NIT bhopal in electronics and communication branch. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed.
