Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculum 7.5 to 8 out of 10 in terms of relevance. One major reason to choose this course was the inclusion of industry oriented subjects, updated specializations(like AI-ML, Cloud etc.) and the Fully Flexible Credit System.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise total fees paid is 350000 approx for the entire year. This includes tuition fees of 200000, hostel fees of 130000 and rest is admission fees of 20000 approx containing caution fees in it. My batchmates also have the same fees structure.
Campus Life
Overall the college life in VIT Bhopal is engaging due to different club events and collage main fest AdVITya . The library offers diverse books and journals. There are smart classrooms, WI-FI, Labs, Sports facilities and active student clubs.
Admission
I chose VIT Bhopal over other collages because of its brand value , centralised placement system and modern infrastructure. I also applied for SRM, Manipal but did not get into them due to fees and their long route issues. The admission process of VIT Bhopal is through VITEEE. Student must have atleast 60% in physics, chemistry, maths in class 12th.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is moderate, though it can feel high in branches like CSE.Most faculty members are well qualified (PHDs). The curriculum is structured with core subjects, lab works. Marks are divided between internals, mid-term and end-term.
Interview Experience
VIT Bhopal provides structured internship support through its training and placement cell, mainly during the third year. Some students secure internships in reputed tech and engineering companies. However, opportunities are competitive, many students apply off-campus by building strong coding skills.
Night Life
Nightlife at VIT Bhopal is calm. Campus in-time is around 9-10 PM and hostel closes at 9:30 PM. GYM and cafeteria closes by evening, library/ public areas closes around 6-7 PM. Student unwind via hostel gatherings or late talks. Outside spots like DB Mall and lakes are popular in bhopal. The locality is generally safe but quiet at night.
