A honest review about VIT VELLORE

The sem duration will be around 5-6 months. The course curriculum is really good. It covers all the aspects of software engineering. And in each year the college authorities check the curriculum and also collects feedback from students according to that they make changes to that. The students itself can give suggestions if they want to improve the curriculum . Some faculties will be really good in teaching and some of them won't be. But we can choose them. In sometimes the classes of good faculties will be full so to complete the credit we have to take the available faculty.

Marvel company selected student for 34 LPA. And other companies like CISCO, zoho, etc. are also selecting. Companies are selecting for different roles like software developer, tester, product manager,etc.

From the 8 th sem itself students can attend interviews and they can get placed. Placement training and all will be offered by the college authorities. HP, Microsoft, Wipro, zoho . Etc. companies are visited. Last year in our course one student placed by 60 lPA. And the average is 10lakhs . Mostly you can attend interviews by cracking the online tests of their companies. And some companies will select students who have more than 8cgpa. But now everybody is giving more important to skill rather than cgpa My plan is to place in the fourth year itself in a good company with more than 30LPA

For this course the selection is based on your 12 th marks. There are many categories of fee stucture is there. From the students which applying the first top some students around 200-300 can get in first category which is 92000 per year. Next category of students have to pay 125000, and then 175000 like that upto four categories are there. If you have more than 97% mostly you will get in first category itself. But it may change because it will depend on the marks of other students applying . If you are from tamilnadu and you are the district topper then you can join as a star student. Which means no need to pay any fees college authorities will take care of that. There are other scholarships are there for students who have less family income I was my course representative in first year.

Somany events will be there. And many clubs are there. Club is another family. You can join in any club and they will conduct club meetings, programs, competitions and all. It will be a great relief from your academic stress. In every weekend students programs will be there like music, dance etc. college music bands make our weekends beautiful. You will have classes in less time only. Like in some time only two hours and maximum you will have 6 hours. All other time you are free and you can enjoy the campus life. VIT vellore campus is such a beautiful campus with full of trees and greenery. We have the biggest library in all university "Periyar library " in which every students can take book from there. The main event in VIT is rivera. So many celebrities and all will come and it will be so much of fun. Rivera will be conducted in four days and those four days will be the best. And other events are gravitas, per-rivera, etc.

While selecting our class itself we can see how many members are in the class. If you want you can select the classes which have lesser members. Faculties will interact with the students because we have internals like quiz, and also our course includes projects. So we will get plenty of opportunities to interact with faculties. Faculties will conduct extra classes for the below average students and they will also provide some assignments for them if their internals are low. But the main thing is that you have to keep a good relationship between faculties. Because some faculties will take revenge with your internals Main thing is get reviews about the faculties from seniors and choose wisely.
