Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course i selected is because of my interests in computer and coding , however the classes and curriculum they are teaching is also is pretty great and there are lot of different labs they provide us for real world experience , the timing of classes is 50 mins and lab classes is around 100 mins

Placement Experience

3.5

The students gets placement in fourth semester and they must need to perform well in academics then only they can be eligible for placements.. There are lot of companies are visiting for different departme, and they offer wide variety of packs, The highest is around 20 lpa and the lowest is 3lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure vary from coures to courses however for me and my department b.tech computer science and for our batch 2022 for one semester it is 100000 and the fees structure is increasing annually, Now the 2024 batch the fees for one semester is 175000, the fees structure vary for different cut off marks scored in 12th standard in school and for below 60% it is 175000 , if your cutoff mark is above 90% then it is 75000, Registration feed is normally 1000 rupees , and the development fees is 10000 in our college there is not a lot of scholarships providing in our institute

Campus Life

5

The orian , threaterfest , onam , arcane and there Are lot of differet technical as well as non technical events conducted in our college and most of the events are conducted in even semester.... Our institution have a huge library and wide variety of books to study and there is no cons about that Our college every classroom has digital monitors and they are well developed Various clubs in our college and i myself has in a club called crescent blood donors and they conduct various social events and technical events and donate blood and saves lives

Hostel Facilities

4

In our hostel the rooms are pretty small however theya are well managed and there are five members in each room and 3 fans and five cupboards. The meal quality is pretty decent for the price it is not bad and not good The Registration process is same for hostel and it is pretty affordable for the price

Admission

I applied for veltech and crescent institute, and for my precentage i got both colleges but i rejected vel tech because it is long and there is not a lot of amenities, in our college there is a entrance exam and you must need to attend the entrance exams and after that they will conform and they check the cutoffs and marks you scored

Faculty

4.5

The faculty to student ratio is good i mean there are lot of different higher educated faculties who are working i our college and there is no disadvantage about faculties In my opinion one of the best faculties is dr. Valarmathi who is our class advisor and one of the best faculties , how well she taught us and how interactive our mam is ... There are two internal exams cat-1 and cat-2 aftet that lab exams and semester exams the exams are pretty tough compared to other institutions

Other Applied Colleges

Vel Tech Multi Tech Dr. Rangarajan Dr. Sakunthala Engineering College | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

When i compared both colleges i find crescent institue much

The placement and the package in this current year is less when compared to previous years. This is due to the more admissions in computer science field and more employees are there.the highest package is 12L/yr . 18% of students will get placed. My plan is to start private construction agency.

There is no good roads to our college. As there is a good and excellent hostel mess with sufficient seating arrangement. There is bus service to each and every corner. As the drawbacks are there no separate playground for cricket and hockey.
