Remarks

The College is very good for CET students. The Comedk students spent much money but of no use.

Entrance Preview

One of the integral reason for which I opted NMIT. It's an autonomous College. It's NBA accredited. And far from the city so peaceful. Good for IT branches. Most of the faculties are friendly. Within 100 in India. Good connected and well-equipped hostels.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The courses like mechanical engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering are most well-qualified faculties are there. The IT like I and case are excellent according to the placement point of view. Many research works are going on each department.

Internships Opportunities

No, They don't. In fact, most of the faculties don't supply for the same. They are like mostly incline to the courses only.

Placement Experience

1.5

The placement in CSE and I are quite good. But the placement in core branches is not that good. Hardly core company visit the College for the recruitment. The placement activity held from starting of 7th and 8th semester. The placement overall depends on the students potential.

College Events

0.5

The National level College fest held at the end of the 1st week of March that is Annadyanta. The Yantra fest is organized by the mechanical engineering department each year. The ethnic day is celebrated each year. Inception is another fest celebrated each year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite expensive for Comedk students. It's about 2.25 lacs per year excluding Hostel fees. The Cet fees are feasible. Most of the time they fined for attendance like 500 and 100 in general. So overall it's expensive for north Indian students to come by Comedk.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not at all, no any loan facility for Comedk students or scholarship. Some of the CET students can get a scholarship.

Campus Life

3

The campus life is overall average. Their campus is quite Greenery. The gym is not well equipped so it's below average. The Ground is like full of the crowd so not much space for separate sports. There is a basketball court is there in front of the mess so it's good. No WiFi equipped campus.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facilities are good. Separate hostels are for each year like for first-year Souparnika hostel. For the second year, Nandini hostel is there. For the 3rd and 4th year Kaveri hostel is there and for Girls Kumardhara hostel is there. The mess food is quite messy. Don't have a good food menu at all.

Alumni/Alumna

The students senior are quite good except few. Most of the Alumni are quite frank and friendly except few of them.

Exam Structure

There is three internals are held in a semester. Internals carries 30 marks out of which best of 2 internals chosen. Then in the final semester exam is held for 100 marks each in which it is valued with 50. The rest 20 is 10 is a seminar project and 10 is surprising test and assignment.

Admission

I got the admission through Comedk I scored 65 out of 150. There are 2 rounds of counselling were there.I have opted it in 2nd round. There are lot chances you can get IT here with the minimum score of 75.The counselling process are quite easy and it was held at NMKRv Bangalore.

Faculty

3

The most of the faculties are friendly except few of them which are partial towards north students. Some of the faculties are like incline to the south students only. Most College students are quite busy in the academic because there are 3 internals and last the final exam.

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%
