Likes

Discipline-It is an autonomous college so everything is in discipline.
The campus is so huge and big, we have each and every facility there, they have upgraded labs too
Teaching faculty at my time was also very efficient, they have very good skills and knowledge about the course

Dislikes

Parking facility, they should improve in that, as the campus is at very height.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have done the diploma in electronics and telecommunication so i choosen the same field in the degree also in YCCE. They have a very practical curriculum, which can prepare us for the real-world applications, theyhave the projects also in between each semester which are based on real world things. they can work on the more practical side teaching About the exams, they have 2 mid terms and then the final semester in the month time.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester students are able to get campus placements, the companies visted was mindtree, tcs, etc after getting the degree i preceived some more courses, the campus depends on the course you have selected for electronics and communication they were very less core companies

Fees and Financial Aid

my tution fees was 75000 per year at 2016-2019, it has been same for four years, it was the complete cost, other than that i comes under OBC so i get scholrship for that so the 75000 amout is without scholarship,

Campus Life

the campus was good, we have two events 1st is icon and 2nd is Yash, library is there we can go anytime, classroom and faculty was good, sports and extracurricular activities offered, they was a very good experience in YCCE

Admission

I have done the Diploma in electronics and telecommunication engineering so the cut off criteria was based on finial semester marks of diploma, also we get admission in direct second year. you will find form and fees structure in the website of YCCE Exam taken was 2-mid term exam, and one final exam, in 3 months

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio was 1:10, my experice about learning was great, the faculity experience and knowledge also very good. I have great experience learing over there. we can interact with teacher anytime we can.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I applied to Ramdeobaba, G.H.Raisoni , Sipna, YCCE. Got confirmed admisssion for all the colleges except Ramdeobaba. YCCE offers better teaching and placements as compared to other colleges in this list. I got rejected in Ramdeobaba due to the cut-off percentage being too high and me not being able to fullfil it.
