KIIT review

The curriculum of the university is outdated as they still wants us to write codes in a copy rather than submitting the assignment in a word file. They don't teach JavaScript which is in current demand for the industry. The university sets exam paper at a medium to hard level and gives enough time to prepare

Many of the companies visits to hire kiit students. They offer a job role of their requirements to the students. Internship stipend depends upon the company you are applying. If you apply company like bain & company they will give stipend of 50k and most of the give stipend of under 30k

For the internships the companies starts coming in at the end 5th semester and at the 7th semester placement seasons starts. Delloite was the company who offered jobs most. The highest package got 87LPA and average package is around 7.6LPA

The fee structure of btech is 14 lakhs in whole and 175000 per sem and 1000 per sem registration fee and 1000 for examination fee and 75000 for one admission fee. For the scholarship if your rank is under 1000 in KIITEE then you can get 120000 scholarship per year.

They usually do culture fest around the year but the main college annual fest starts around Jan end to 3rd of February. Hackathons are the frequents events that happens in the college. For the sports enthusiast, it's a heaven to them in this college. Even indian rugby team daily practice in kiit sports grounds

Hostels are of two kinds ac and non ac with both option 3 bed or 2bed. 3bed non ac is 28k per sem while 2bed ac costs 70k(bathroom attached). The meal quality of hostel is not good for vegetarians. If you have no problem eating non veg then it will be fine for you.

The eligibility criteria for the paper is to have 12th pass and exam registration is free. You can the application form from their website. It starts around march for registering. The exam paper is online and it will easy to moderate level questions

Faculty to student ratio is kind of poor because as it is 1:80. And the teachers are also busy. But they try to clear doubts for the students in the free time Faculties are well qualified. Bu the ones who are new to Teaching, doesn't teach very well
