What Students Say

Likes

Programmes are good and fun.2 main programmes per year
All types of clubs are available like dance, music etc
Lot of labs for mechanical students like fluid labs etc

Dislikes

Strict management, and do not support many programmes
Management does not provide funding for college events or projects
Very strict class and exams are very strict. No adjustments

Course Curriculum Overview

Outdated curriculum and old course. Does not give very high paying course. Not much practical knowledge from curriculum.I took it because of interest towards machines and automobiles. I like mechanical engineering

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Placement Experience

Students with above 7.5 cgpa get decent placements but Mech and civil does not give you very high paying jobs or a lot of jobs. We can expect a Small package oif lucky. Cute jobs are less you may get it placements

Fees and Financial Aid

This is an aided college so fees is very less like 10 thousand rupees per year but also exam fees are to be paid. Financially it is very good and has good infrastructure if you take it on merit seat based on keam.

Campus Life

We have our tech fest called Takshak usually lasts 3 days and we have our art fest called sanskriti qualify also lasts 3 days. Lot of books are available in the library. We have a lot of student run clubs for each field and lots of competitions are attended.

Hostel Facilities

I live in a pg and it is fairly good it costs 3000 rs per month without food I mostly eat from college canteen and the food is to the pricier side in college canteen. We have water and Electricity and wifi. No time restrictions. It is close to the college.

Hostel Fee: INR 94000 per year

Admission

You have to pass and secure good rank to get into this college. You don't need very good rank for getting mech but you need under 18000 rank to get mech in keam without reservation. Keam is Applied online and same sallubus as jee

Faculty

3.5

All faculty are very highly qualified but mostly strict, don't give attendence Evan for college project competitions. Not very supportive for things other than studies.only studies are important. So many permissions are needed for even conducting events.

Interview Experience

There was an interview but you can pass it regardless of you are admitted by Merit seat. Getting good rank in keam is more important. All documents are to be submitted at the time of admission .Like aadhar card,admission slip etc

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

Navigating MACE: A student's journer Through Campus Life, Academics and Oppurtunities.

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for its autonomous status. This allows MACE to have more current and industry relevent curiculum unlike colleges with fixed university syllabus. Admission to MACE was based on keam rank. Although I had a good rank, it wasnt high enough to get my preferred branch in NIT calicut or CET.
