- The teachers are friendly and approachable.they are not hesitant to clear the students' doubts when we dont get a giid understanding on the topic.
- The college has a comfortable environment. It has a good geographical location surrounded by nature, allowing the students to have a peacefull mind.
- The college provides us with many cultural events such as takshak and sansriki that help the students to releive from their academic pressures and soothe their minds.
Dislikes
- Some of the seniors are arrogant and unfriendly.they often rag the students and tell them to complete their assignments for them.
- Food facilities are not satisfactory. There are hygiene issues with the hostel food that may have caused food poisoning for many of the students.
- many of the hostels have poor facilities and unhealthy food. They impend unnecessarily strict rules and curfews that destroys the freedom of the students
Course Curriculum Overview
The 2019 curriculum could be considered a little bit outdated, but it has included all basic and nesesary topics needed for paving the way for the students professional career. The first year curriculum is well designed and gives all the students a basic idea on mechanics,civil engineering, maths,physics, chemistry and so on.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees is affordable for middle class family students . it is actually low ,since the college is government aided. It only comes about 9000 rupees annually , and even lower - i.e about 3000 for students with a fee waiver. There are scholarships like egrants that help out the hardworking students with a poor financial background.
Campus Life
The technical fest, is held by third year students during the initial months . Sanskriti, the arts fest of the college is organised by the fourth years during The months of april. Its ab cultural and artistic fest that brings about the innate talents of the students.
Admission
The admission process was a bit tiresome.maybe it was because I got the seat in my third allotment.the cutt off rank this year for computer science was surprisingly higher than the previous year, jt changed from 2000s to 2400s.this made me join one of The best colleges in kerala.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is a bit unbalanced . they may not be able to give focus to each and every student.yet the experience is not that bad as students could approach the teachers after class time to solve their doubts,if the teachers allow it.
