An overview of my college life

My course is Electronics and Communication engineering which is a really good course. In my college there are many different departments like Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology. Our college follows makaut so there are various subjects which we think it useless like biology English. But the teachers make us understand that it has also use in engineering

For our electronics and Communication engineering department the fees is 120000 per year There is change in fees every year according to the makaut There are also scholarship provided like svmc scholarship it gives around 60 k for the students whose income is less than 2.5lac

The campus life is really good. There are many clubs and societies in college. The main clubs are Hardware club, Robotics club, Culture society, Sports Club,GDSC, Institute Of Engineers etc. There held technical and cultural fest in the campus. The name of technical fest is Info Quest and the name of cultural fest is Leganzza. The fest mainly held in the month of April. Also there held many events organised by different clubs. The main events are Innovative Hardware Model Making Competition, Electronics Innovative etc. There are very good sports facilities in college,many inter depertmental and Inter college tournament held in college.

The addmission process is simple. Students gave WBJEE exam after 12th and according to rank the allotted colleges. The eligibility of WBJEE exam is 12th with physics, chemistry and maths. The exam mainly held in end of April month. The difficulty level of this exam is Hard to moderate. The councelling round should be improved according to my perspective.

In Asansol Engineering College most of the faculties are PhD qualified. Some teachers' teaching style is really so good.But some faculties teaching is horrible which results in difficulty to understand their teaching. Some of them uses the technique of blending technology and board & chalk method which may be efficient to some extent but not for all faculties .
