Course Curriculum Overview

5

For me I chose my course cause they had advanced labs that will help us in our work. They install new equipment so that students don't get left behind in coming technologies and techniques. There are 4 types of paper in a semester which is sometimes hectic but kind of fun... Only for mid sem you need to be ready beforehand. You don't even get a single-day gap for any subject paper.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Biosyn and companies like that give you internship opportunities. For 1st year there is no stipend but from 2nd year you can.. Talking about life science department, For other departments, you get a good amount of stipend ranging from 5k to 15k depending on your role and skill you need to pass their interview for that

Placement Experience

5

There are placements for different departments but for life science you need to have an Msc degree still there is ample opportunities for u to get a placement in a company. They organize a fest for these placements-related works. Now there's a dual degree of bachelor with a research year.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are good at studies you get a chance of fee Concession. It's around 50000 per semester that I think is worth it keeping in mind the quality of education I receive from this institution. You get opportunities for various no. of govt workshops and internships. Now the hard work to earn them depends on you.

Campus Life

5

The infrastructure is vast Campus is very beautiful with birds parks So many cnateens and sitting area for you to relax with so much greenery There are a number of events which go on in the campus everyday... Participate in whatever u feel like. You have doctors at Campus who will check you and that's absolutely free it comes under your fees. That's I guess one of the best points... I can assure you can continue to pursue your dream career and hobbies in this campus for sure.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I basically live in pg... But there is hostel for boys and girls in the campus. My pg rent is 11000 per month that is actually reasonable in place like bangalore. But least you can get is 9000 for triple sharing in hostels.. Food is not very good.. Its eatable sometimes not also.. Food u take as acerage... Yoh will have a lil difficulties wigh water scarcity.. Still people in pg are good... They take care of the stuffs that you are not comfortable with

Admission

There was no entrance exam for me I had only an interview that was online. But now everything is offline and you need to even give a test that you have to pass The criteria is to pass your higher secondary. You need to have self-confidence and belief in yourself and also be true about yourself. Don't miss out on our hobbies and talents that they are most fond of!

Faculty

5

The faculty is very approachable.. They all are researchers or doctrate...They are thorough with all the advanaced techniques... They don't leave behind even a single student in spite of veing it a large class of 70+..The whole campus is very diverse in many aspects... You will never be for a single sec bored in your campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
