Likes

Faculty is very good and they will clarify all the doubts regarding subject
For playing cricket, volleyball, badminton ground is there
For buying snacks and required things there is canteen

Dislikes

Food is very bad for South India students
Since college is there outside the nagpur city transport facility is little bad
For asking about scholarship section accountants are very lazy

They will keep topics schedule before the course started and tell the syllabus topic wise we can come to hostel and practise them again and we can ask faculty about what reference books we have to prepare for exams And exam paper difficulty level

Per annum total fees 355000/- and college fees is 247000 and hostel fees is 108000 they will send mail before one month and give time for 15days and we have nsp scholarship,reliance scholarship to apply

Campus Life

Including studies there are so many cocurlar activities to perform you have abhivaytki event in which you can sing,dance and play the music with guitar and for that event thereis committees and there is head for that comitees and you can be member of that commitee and you can check the event

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room consist of four students each and you will provide one self and one bed and to buy your required things in canteen so hostel rooms you want to mantain clean and two fans and two lights are provide in each room

Admission

In intermediate you have to have minimum 75percentage marks and we want to write jeemains exam in second year and you have cut off based on reservation like( ews,obc,sc,st) you have to prepare maths, physics, chemistry for jeemains exam

Faculty members are very friendly with students and they will come after PhD they will write government exam and after that they will Qualify interview so they will clarify all doubts of each and every student

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

Placements of the college are good . They are incerasing year by year . As now college is made autonomous placement is also good in the college. Companies like TCS , CAPEGEMINI, like such big companies are also coming to college . as such college have developed the placement ratio . the higest package offered in the college was last year it was 18 lakhs . average pacakages offered in the college is betweeen 3 to 7 lakhs . but the students are geeting placed from college. Near about 70 to 80 percentage of the students are getting placed every year.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.

My views about IIIT-Nagpur

I majorly selected this collage and VNIT(metalurgy course ) as a backup, i got ther ECE-Iot in last CSAB round . VNIT have lots of better featurs like grounds , Events which a a lot better than iiitN. i kept the ECE-Iot above VNIT metalurgy thats why i got it , and i didnt fill any other things which i could have got.
