- I like fees, its location as it is near to metro it's campus and silence in the camous. The help the Institute provide financially and physically for our Participation.the big college destroy the personal touch between student and teacher
- The personal touch between student and teacher has been preserved in my college which is the best and most important thing
- The exams attendance and the study material provided are very useful from exam point of view it really helped to paass the exams
Dislikes
- I disliked the college canteen and the food it has Very less option of the veg
- The library can be more advanced with proper computer and the e books
- The student here is very less engaging and participating and i hate this thing they don't want to do anything they are very slow
Course Curriculum Overview
The best thing that attracted me was it's location and the fee structure I personally belive now every college teaches you the same and still the package is different it's all the skills that matters so better to pay as little as possible on college and then take some good courses to learn the skills from professional. The best thing about my college is flexibility like it support us for the competition in and out stations and also help as financially. The real world preparation I must say is ok cuz I don't get much of it although engineering as a whole teaches lots of life lesson. The area of improvement is it's networking with alumini also a student and teacher collaboration, student need to engage themselves rather than just abusing college. We have 8 sem curriculum with 4 internals at each sem difficulty can be on scale of 1-5 it will be 4 I guess
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees i already mentioned is the reason of my admission as it was the least among all the other college of same or higher rating but at the end teaching is same. At my time it was 357000 including everything but now it has increased to I guess 410000 still is less than many college. Their are many financial aid provided in the college their are few student who pays 15000 for the entire 4 year course as they have fees allowance also there are many scholarship thing done and i get almost 4-5 notice of the same in group evey day . Till now there is no campus employment but college has helped me to participate in all iit and nit competition
Campus Life
The social aspects is nice and we have one of the best fest in kolkata celcius. It is an annual festival and in mid there are small small fest and events going on I can say it is 4-5 in a year and many tech talk and also many people who have been in real project and company come to share the experience. The sports is the place where everyone is found engaging. We have a unbeatable football team and very good volleyball team. Their is a meme page iit tollygunge on Instagram
Admission
The admission processing is quite simple after I completed my class 12 there was two option for getting entered in my college one is direct admission if you have 95% and above in your board's exam Or you can come through webjee i appeared from webjee and have cleared it then you need to prepare a preference list of your college and then in counselling one will allotted at every round.
