Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Electronics and communication engineering because it has software and as well as hardware part. In the growing state of semiconductors and electronics instrument in India I believe this field will grow exponentially.

Placements In Asansol engineering college is quite decent. The average placement is like 4lpa. The highest placement offer is 24 lpa. 70% of students got placed. This vary year to year. Company's like TCS, Wipro, CTS, NUTANIX, Bijus,Hexaware,L&T,Intel Corporation etc visited our college. Highest placement offered by NUTANIX with 24 Lpa In SRE role. My plan is to prepare for GATE exam and crack GATE exam and pursue M.TECH from good college

Fees and Financial Aid

My course fee is 540000 rs. I got scholarship from SVMCM which is 60k per year. In my college there are several clubs. I took part in club's events and enjoy them. We have our fest in our college. So if you want to enjoy there are many opportunities to enjoy college life.

Campus Life

In Asansol engineering college there are various clubs like Hardware club, Robotics club, culture society, Institute of Engineers Students chapter, environment club, Coding club, Development society, photography club, science club,sports club, GDSC AEC etc. There are many events organised by the clubs like Innovative Hardware Model Making competition, Electronics Innovation, Hackathons, annual Sports events, Fest, Culture Events etc. In college library there are thousands of books of curriculum and outside curriculum for personal development.

Admission

I admitted to the college through WBJEE exam.It is a state level joint entrance exam for Engineering and Pharmacy for admission in various state engineering college and private colleges of West Bengal. Eligibility - 12th with Physics, chemistry maths Application form- WBJEE portal Exam is is mainly last of April month. Difficult level is hard to moderate. After the result out WBJEE conducted Councelling for addmission and then we choose college for our choice in the councelling

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.
