Remarks

About college just because if autonomy college design there own syllabus and they tell us to reffer the different book so it is quite difficult to find what is good for exam is quite difficult and those who attends lecture regularly they don't need to take tension but those student who don't attend lecture , it's quite difficult for them to clear the exams

Entrance Preview

Fergusson is one of the best college in Maharashtra also now it became mahrashtras first University also I was thinking to do my degree in science I don't want to do engineering thats why I choose this course and also if you got good marks in your 12th class then you will selected for the inspire program which is really good

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It's really fine , due to autonomous they set new syllabus which is good for student ,ya it's right it's quite difficult but it's good for the student ,and there is no particular text book for the student you need to reffer the reffernce book and for some subject you can also use the books of Pune University since fergusson is a part of Pune University , in 2016 they get autonomy

Internships Opportunities

No , I don't heard about it at least for the Bsc but ya many different institute like IUCAA ( science research program ) and different IIT organized internship program but college provide internship program for master students not for the bachelor student

Placement Experience

4

According to college professor , there are many companies come for the placement for Bsc in those IBM is also included but placement is dependes on your knowledge and academic career many students get jobs after completion of there 3 year Bsc degree but many students go for the master degree

College Events

5

after 15 December, our college fest start which is very memorable moments for all the Fergusson student because every department organized something new for the visitor and also dance, drama and many more things happen I. This weak also there is Dj dance day is also organized so it's a really good thing for a student to express what they have Rather than study

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure changes every but for BSc ( general ) fees is around 3000 for category student and for open and non-Maharashtrian student it is around 6000 and for other faculties like computer science and many other have fees around 24000 for category student( only for SC and ST) and for open and non-Maharashtrian student it is around 48000 INR the details about free structure information you also get it on Fergusson official website

Fees and Financial Aid

Student will get scholarship according to there past year performance but it mostly depends on there 10th and 12th marks which is offered by gov of Maharashtra , this is only for granted student not for the non-granted student also for Bsc (genaral science ) if you have really good marks in 12th then you will be selected for INSPIRE scholarship

Campus Life

4

Campus is really good surrounded by trees and hill so here you will definitely feel the beauty of nature and campus department are of old construction so it's really different for us to learn over there , gender ratio is almost 50-50 , many students come from many different states of India also form different countries so the diversity of student is much here , sports ground is there , every year debate competition is organized by college and many different colleges also drama competition are also organized , robotics is a part of electronic department , labs are also good

Hostel Facilities

5

Mess food is a Maharashtrian food , I think these are the one of the best mess in Pune fees for mess is around 2600 per month and for college hostel student it is 2400 per month , hostel is also good it's fees is around 40000 per year you need to clear your all subject if you want to continue to live in hostel for foreign students fee hostel is around 1 lack

Alumni/Alumna

I don't know much about senior students but those who are in my contacts I would like to tell you that these student are really as like some are Good and some are bad but in our college almost student are good no one is like monster every one is freely in behavior

Exam Structure

Fergusson gives equal value for internal and external exams i.e , 50 marks for internal exam and 50 marks for external exam and you need to get at least 20 marks in both and also you need to get more than 40 out of 100 to clear your subject and also CE's are there attendance marks are also play important role

Admission

Well , for admission in fergusson you need to feel application form for the fergusson in different courses whatever you want you can feel the form for more than one course , form fee is around 50 RS. , And after feeling the form wait for the merit list when merit list will display just go to college and show your original documents and submit LC and confirm your admission after that you will find that your GEMS account is now open then submit your college fees after payment confirmation your admission will be confirm (fees is different for different courses ) (GEMS account is created at the time of form feeling just like what we do for the Facebook account ) then you need to download your fee receipt from gems account which will generated after 1-2 days...after that submit it to college then your

Faculty

3.5

It's good , like in every college some teachers are good , some are best and some are really worst actually it's depends on our point of view how we think about particular faculty , and many different department try something new to improve the student skill like online examination , lecture , home assignment and open book test etc. To develop student skill in different field

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been thoroughly impressed with the course curriculum for its relevance and comprehensive approach to both theory and practice. One major aspect that influenced my decision to choose this course was its emphasis on practical application and real-world problem solving. The curriculum integrates current industry trends and case studies, which immediately appealed to me because it offers not only theoretical knowledge but also valuable hands-on experiences. The structure of the curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and further academic pursuits. For instance, the course modules are designed to build a strong foundational understanding while progressively introducing complex topics. This approach ensures that students are capable of tackling challenging scenarios in professional settings and are well-prepared for advanced research or academic opportunities. The practical assignments, group projects, and internships provide direct exposure to industry practices and enable us to apply what we learn in a realistic context. Despite these strengths, there is always room for improvement. The course curriculum could further benefit from increased interactive teaching methods, such as more frequent workshops and peer-to-peer learning sessions. Incorporating regular seminars by industry experts would also add practical insights. Additionally, the frequency and timing of exams sometimes feel overwhelming. Although the exam difficulty level is fair and encourages a deep understanding of the material, scheduling them away from major project deadlines could alleviate some unnecessary stress. Overall, I find the curriculum to be robust and well-rounded. With a few adjustments in teaching methods and assessment schedules, it has the potential to become even more effective in preparing students for both professional challenges and advanced academic endeavors. In summary, the course curriculum excels in providing a balanced educational.
