Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

If I would be honest then I would say that , I saw only this course which is a bit better then other if you are not sure what to do and still good in studies and if it works then have good amount of money too. And btw college is just not about degree, it's also about new experience and facing reality and alot. Teacher's and faculties are well in their profession.

Placement Experience

3.5

placement of our campus is still bit ok it's like everything to 7 LPA . But you talk about further past few years more than more than 3 to 4 years back then it was too good before pandemic just because of recession and provid now it's has been decrease but within 2 to 3 years it will come back to track and our placement ratios and placement practice will going to good and their such a companies which comes to our campus like Ola

Fees and Financial Aid

If it's about fee structure and fees, then it's not too adorable for engineering but still it's not too high, it's kind of at the mid or just a bit more then mid. But as a student my calculations says that my parents should contain around 18-20 lakh for my course which includes tuition fees, hostel, room, food, pocket money and etc . Scholarship also available for those who maintains good CGP.

Campus Life

2.5

The only this that's good externally about campus is it's location and nothing. Campus is too small but it's located at masoori road which makes it's cool and very clean area with alot of greenery. Youthopia is our cultural fest and it's good, not bad. But over all there is not too much events happens. And library is too good in every expact like space, books collection and etc Classroom are compact but it's fine. Most of the students comes form Hariyana, up and Bihar and some of them are too arongeent and egoistic with is the only thing makes me feel that ohh shit, why I am here.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostels are bad, but wardens are of 1st year only. You and consider a meal as okok but not tasty ????. Registration process is too easy, just apply online or offline and pay on their ERP portal and then done

Admission

For admission procedure you can apply on the basis of your boards or JEE score. Application and all procedure is too easy and can do online on web and their ERP portal. They provide scholarship of 26% in tuition fees for those who have a domecile certificate of Himalayan state and so many another scholarship based of Merritt. If it's about exams schedule then it's not too good, even in end semester the main subjects have the preperation leave of 1 day only and rest of the things are good if it's about the admission process.

Students become eligible for placements in the 7th sem. Recently, Visa visited our college but didn’t make any offers. The highest package in 2024 was 84 LPA, while the average is around 4 LPA. Nearly 80% of students get placed across different companies. After my degree, I plan to build strong tech skills and aim for a good software developer role.

Godrej, Infosys and likewise tech and non-technical companies which have decided to have some AI engineers in their ranks are coming to our college. Also since our college don't have such big strength like the private universities have and therefore placements final figures may be small but in all, our percentage of placements are better and higher than those of the private universities.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Oracle, Microsoft, DeShaw and almost every company which needs IT services have looked upon GEU because we are trained that way. This is the reason our median has gone up and this year was a breakout year for placements for GEU as over 15-20 students were hired for packages of over 40 LPA.
