Likes

library has central air conditionar and sufficient books
sports is good and for every sport there is seprate space
campus is between the city and no restiction on going outside

Dislikes

professor are less experienced and new .
campus infracture is very bad and bad roads
hostel mess food is tasteless and sweet.

course curriculum is quiet hard here as they have shifted the syllabus curriculum. prepares you for real-world applications such as they have cdc(career development cell) that helps in getting the placement .

Tuition fee increase policy is such as follow one lakh tweenty five thousand per two semester(125000) and about 54000(fifty four thousand ) for hostel and mess per year many scholarship are here for every category

overall experience with campus life is good as there are clubs of each and every departement library has sufficient books for every subject sports extracurricular is good as there is no restition on games

Admission

admission process is done though the entrance exam called name JEE joint entrance examination you should score a good percentile to get admission in this college. physical reporting should le done fast

A Comprehensive Review of My College Experience

Placement Experience:

Placements at the college are moderate, with students becoming eligible from the 6th or 7th semester. A few IT and core companies visit, offering roles like developer and trainee engineer. The highest package is around 6–8 LPA, while the average is 2–4 LPA. Around 50–60% of students get placed, while others pursue higher studies or off-campus jobs. My plan after completing the degree is to improve my skills and aim for better opportunities or pursue higher education.

Inside SVNIT: A students’s UNFILTERED view

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
