Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is moderately relevant and provides a strong foundation in core subjects, which influenced my decision to choose this course. It helps in building theoretical knowledge useful for higher studies, but lacks sufficient practical exposure for real-world applications. Exams are conducted through internal tests and final semester exams, with moderate difficulty. Improvements are needed in updating the syllabus, adding hands-on projects, and using more interactive teaching methods.
Placement Experience
Placements at the college are moderate, with students becoming eligible from the 6th or 7th semester. A few IT and core companies visit, offering roles like developer and trainee engineer. The highest package is around 6–8 LPA, while the average is 2–4 LPA. Around 50–60% of students get placed, while others pursue higher studies or off-campus jobs. My plan after completing the degree is to improve my skills and aim for better opportunities or pursue higher education.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total yearly fees are 64500 , where this is Totaly a tuition fees, and the admission fees are 800 . There are no any other fees for the lab or any other charges, there are exam fees taken from the University not by the college. There is no charge for the exam in the college. We also provide many scholarship from which some are provided by the government of Gujarat and many other are provided by the College Management
Campus Life
Campus life is engaging with a good mix of academics and activities. Annual and technical festivals like cultural fests and tech fests are usually held between January and March. The library has a decent collection of books and journals, accessible to most students. Classrooms are equipped with basic digital tools like projectors. Sports and extracurricular activities such as cricket, badminton, and clubs are available. Student-run clubs and groups help in improving skills, teamwork, and overall social interaction.
Admission
I chose this college over others due to its affordable fees, decent faculty, and convenient location. I had applied to a few private and government colleges and got admission in some private ones, but their fees were high. I couldn’t get into top government colleges due to cutoff ranks and competition. Admission here is through entrance exams like state-level tests, based on merit and cutoffs. The process was smooth, transparent, and easy to complete.
Faculty
Faculty, Course Structure, and Exam System Review The faculty members in our college are generally qualified and experienced, though the teaching quality varies from subject to subject. The approximate faculty-to-student ratio is around **1:20 to 1:30**, which is decent for maintaining interaction. Most faculty members are approachable and willing to help students outside lecture hours, especially during exams or project work. Some of the best faculty members include those who focus on conceptual clarity and real-life applications rather than just textbook teaching. For example, professors who use practical examples, diagrams, and interactive sessions tend to make learning more engaging and understandable. These faculties are also supportive during doubts and encourage students to ask questions. However, there are a few faculty members who rely heavily on traditional teaching methods like dictation or PPT reading, which makes lectures less interesting. Some are less approachable, and students hesitate to ask doubts due to strict behavior or lack of interaction. This creates a gap in learning for some students. ### Course Structure The course curriculum is moderately relevant to current industry needs. Core subjects provide a strong theoretical foundation, but in some cases, the syllabus feels outdated and lacks modern technologies or practical exposure. More focus on hands-on learning, projects, and real-world applications would improve the overall effectiveness of the course. ### Exam System and Marking Scheme The exam system typically includes: * **Internal exams (mid-sem or unit tests)** * **Assignments and practicals** * **Final semester exams (external exams)** The marking scheme is a combination of internal assessment and external exam performance. Internal marks usually include att
Night Life
Nightlife around the campus is calm but enjoyable. Most facilities like the gym, cafeteria, and library close by evening around 7–9 PM. Hostel in-time is usually around 9–10 PM, ensuring discipline. Students often hang out in nearby cafes, tea stalls, or public areas before returning. The campus itself becomes quiet at night, with limited activities. The surrounding locality is generally safe to roam in groups, and these simple hangouts help students relax and bond after classes.
