Geography is a very nice subject and today's increasing population needs many more things to live which we study under geography. A Master's in geography can help in securing a bright future as urban planners, town planners, in the meteorological department, etc.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 11500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for the course for the students of General category, OBC,SC, ST is:11500/-only. However, the students can get back the fees in the form of scholarships given by the government. The single child gets 36000 scholarships back directly into their account.

Campus Life

There is a prohibition on ragging. As it is a girls' college so everyone feels free on campus. The professors are very supportive. Tests, assignments, group discussions, and presentations are organized before semester exams.

Admission

Admission in this college for masters in geography is through PGAT(Post Graduate Entrance Test) which is conducted by Allahabad University. Elgibility for the course:1) One should have Geography as their one of subject in previous class or they have to be from science side. 2)Admission is done on the basis of the cut off marks obtained in the PGAT . Application for PGAT is available from April to June on the official website of Allahabad University. Application fees is divided according to different sections. Reservation is available for EWS, OBC, SC and ST category of the society. The questions are based on the graduation syllabus of the Allahabad University.

Placement was not satisfactory, they usually call the sales company like Policybazaar, Religare and banks. Also they connect some more comany like tcs and some finance-based jobs. most of the student get a job by their own reference

Life at JT Girls Degree College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I wanted to become an English Professor, the course really helped me a lot in getting an insight into English Literature. The professors are very encouraging. The curriculum not only relies on the traditional method of teaching but also various co curricular activities are conducted to prepare the students for the real world. Each student is given an opportunity to prove herself. As the exams are conducted annually we get a lot of time to prepare accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economics is a very good and a very interesting subject. The curriculum over here focuses from basic to advance level . It starts its syllabus from basic micro and cover almost every field of economics. The curriculum try to give application in real world by adding dissertations, field surveys in syllabus. There are 4 semester in master and in every semester there is an end semester exam (that is of 70) and mid semester exam (that is of 30 marks) . The exam is mostly moderate .

I did this course because I was interested in doing this course.i had to halp the people face the mantle problem so I joined this course to help people and solve their problems.There were 30 students in one faculty The qualification of the faculty is P.hd (NET) qualified and thay have also doctor degree.Our exam were semester wise and there were monthly test also. We also had to give practicals. We had to complete our project in a very short time because of this we had to face some problem.

Overall experience is good and worthy

I filled the CUET - PG form and Allahabad University Post Graduation form to pursue my Masters in Geography. You should be holding bachelor degree in that particular subject to be eligible for this exam. You can find the application form on Sarkari Result.Com and the fees for application was somewhere between 600-900rs. The form usually come in January or February and exams are counted in March or April. I have not availed any reservation benefits. The timings of exams were good and also the difficulty of exam was moderate to hard. The website sometimes don't work properly and people might face some payment issues as well. One of the most important things about the whole exam conduction is that the systems on which we sit during exams doesn't work properly sometimes due to which people face many difficulties in the further process....Read More
