Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum can be more interactive like there should be field visit some trip related to topics and with that we will be connect with real world. Teaching method are not as interactive as it can be might be because of some students teacher don't interact.

Internships Opportunities

4

As i have joined recently i haven't received and internship but my graduation is also from this university at that time i was offered to do internship in ngo name, The Climate Agenda it is basically a ngo for environment issues and it was unpaid.

Fees and Financial Aid

Banaras hindu university as we know it is a central university so it is very pocket friendly for students. First year for SC category student it charges all total ?3000/- There is a national scholarship available which you can apply from national scholarship portal. And the fees will not be increasing it is same for second year as well

Campus Life

4

There is one more bad thing about this is they don't provide hostels for all specially social sciences girls many student have to live outside the campus which could have been done in a right way so because of that i have received partially campus life. Overall it was good campus life is way better then class There is one club for dance aa I'm a dancer i joined this taalashaya dance club and also maushikhi for songs and all. If we see infrastructure social science department infrastructure is not that good there is a broken tables chair in class only

Admission

As i was unable to crack cutoff so this was my third option. comparing it with my first preferences those university give exposure do seminar strict curriculum here it is little bit chill environment. Maybe i wasn't prepare much because i was engaged in my B ed course. In BHU there is a round where it is shown that you have been selected for which college then of you like that college you can freeze it then you have to pay then your seat is locked then they will call for physical verification

Faculty

3

Faculty member are helpful but also some shows tantrum. There will be 4 semesters total in 2 years each semester there will be exam of 70 marks written i. e external and 30 marks internal in this 30 marks teacher see student behavior basically overall

Night Life

3

If you are a hosteller then there will be not night life outside but ya you can chill inside hostel. For girls hostel outing timing is 8 pm after that no one can go outside. There is very famous hangout place i.e assi ghat you will find all the bhu students there

Other Applied Colleges

In my college the teaching methods is quie good for me and in my perspective the frequency and difficulty levels of exam is not excessive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I wanted to become an English Professor, the course really helped me a lot in getting an insight into English Literature. The professors are very encouraging. The curriculum not only relies on the traditional method of teaching but also various co curricular activities are conducted to prepare the students for the real world. Each student is given an opportunity to prove herself. As the exams are conducted annually we get a lot of time to prepare accordingly.
