Good remark is that its an IIT and the alumni helps to the juniors. Every student is friendly and helps each other. Bad remark is administration is traditional. They do not like to improve anything which is required rather than following the footsteps which are easier.

I qualified IIT JEE 2012 my all india rank in this examination was 7724 mechanical enginnering is my passion as cars and aircrafts are. Autimobile and aircrafts both shares same basics from mechanical enginnering so i choose it.

Mechanical engineering of IIT bhu is very good considering to work for research section and there are some professors who goes for theoretical analysis for the projects more. This theoretical analysis helps one to go for research and paper presentations. Some professors works on models as well and helps to get the right method of analysis for getting to the results of desirable project.

Yes, companies come for internship selection process. Alots of companies like tata, relience, evaluasure, wipro, mu sigma comes for internship offers. Some software companies also offers for internship. Management and core companies also comes with offer each company offers different stipend and some do not offers as well.

Placement and job opportunities are very good. Only on day 1, 40.companies come for the placement of different branches. Lots of core and non core companies comes for placement with the offers from 3 lpa to millions as well. Rocketfuel, oracle, facebook had offered in 20 millions package, Goldman saches offered 30lpa to a mechanical student.

There are mainly 3 events in the college, Technex which is the techno management fest of the college, Kashiyatra which is cultural festival of the college, Spardha whichbis sports fest. All three are very broad and famous festivals. Technex is international.level fest and rest two are national level, Participants all over the country comes to participate.

Fee structure was light earlier but from.now its 2 lacks per year. Earlier it was only 14000 per sem then increased to 64000 per semester and from this year it went on 1 lakh per sem as per the gov fee stricture is completely decided by the gov of india.

Loan can be availed by the sbi bank of the college and scholarship by different branch of faculty and department. Some category based scholarship are also there.

Campus life is so cool. You get lots of venue in college where you can chill out. Lots of events takes place throughout the year. Different clubs of different councils organize events. Gender ratio id not good. Girls to boys ratio is about 1 : 10. Talking about diversity then students comes from all over the india. Some societies go for the social work as teaching to poor and providing then general needs as well.

Hostel facility is provided by the college. Mess as well one must allot hostel room of he is enrolled in college. Mess facility is very good. You get roti rice sabzi dal salad everyday. Different mess get their different menu. One maharaj and rest workers are in the mess. One student behaves as the mess manager who decides the menu for week on behalf of students.

Alumni network is the biggest in indian engineering colleges and all are at some very good reputed places. Alumni helps in jobs, projects, interns and different guidance as well. They help i am every matter of requirement by the juniors.

Exam structure is based on the semester basis. Each semester carries 3 exams two class tests and one end term. All are evaluated by the professors and marked. Practical exams are on daily basis. Each lab class is an exam in itself. You are evaluated at each practical terms. Theory papers are part wise and at the end its full course.

Faculties are well qualified for sure as this is the India's top 6 engineering college and also selection procedure goes through hrd india. One should be qualified enough to apply for the position some professors teach very nicely point to subject and some also teaches with the higher level so that you need to work hard to cope up with them.
