Best college for horticultural studies.

As per my experience, i had bedt days of my life in the college. Everything i got best and earned well so far.

I wanted to pursue my career in plant biotechnology that's why i joined this college. Laboratory are well furnished and facilitated. Plant tissue culture is my favourite subject. I wanted to get the full knowledge of it. College has helped me with this totally.

Course curriculum is decided by the University for both of the colleges and same followed for both. There is semester system. There are 2 semesters in a year. In 1 semester 8 courses are there starting from the basics in 1st semester and then principles are being taught and then techniques. At the end semester there is in-house project training carried out in the college.

Our college do not provide any kind of internship. It is not involved in any internship program as per my experience.

A placement cell is set up for placements in the university. Companies like seed tech company come there and interview the students. Other than this there is no such placement criteria. Job opportunities are there in the streams we've studied. One can apply for HEO, HDO, AFO, AEO posts.

Fresher's party, teacher's day, environment day, food fest, parthenium eradication day, Science day, sanitation day, various quiz competition, debate, declamation competition are held in college. Intercollege Sports meet is also organised once in a year, annual day, Farewell party etc.

As compared to other universities, the fee structure is feasible for the students to get education in our university. There are subsidized and non subsidized seats. Subsidized seats have a less fee structure than the nonsubsidized seats. But the fee structure is feasible overall.

College has its own merit scholarship scheme. And the scholarship is given to the toppers who come in top 10% of the class. The CGPA for the scholarship should be 7.5 or above.

Campus of our college is big yet not developed fully. Campus life is good. As you can see groups of students playing, studying, resting, gossiping and doing other field activities. Labs are well facilitated, sports facility is also good. Competitions are held frequently.

8/10 the hostel facilities. Everything is good but just medical facility is not done in a proper way. Hostel mess food is good sometimes there are some problems but overall rating can be 8/10. Other than this there is gym facility avaliable in the hostel.

Yes. Communication with the students and seniors is very good. Seniors are very helpful in many ways from providing study material to teaching and clarifying facts.

There is semester examination system. And that is taken in 3 parts. One is mid term examination, 2nd is practical exam, and 3rd is end term examination. The marks partition is done according to the credit hours to particular subject. Mid term and practical exam are combined and called as internal examination and end term is called as external examination.

First i took University entrance and on the basis of merit i got selected for the counselling. In the counselling process i got my subsidised seat in biotechnology department. There are 3 counseling done. I got my seat in 1st counseling. There were two colleges under University. I got selected in one of the college.

Faculty of the college is well qualified. Teachers are highly qualified. Scientists are there too. Almost all the staff are PhD holders. The way of teaching is amazing. Theory and practical both are taught in the best way. They focus more on practical knowledge. They guide students well. Overall faculty is the best here.
