Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I joined NIT Delhi (CSE) Because it followed the new education policy and was teaching field related subjects even in first year. The 4 year course in BTECH includes every field of computer science like DSA, Cloud computing, IoT, Data mining etc. And also provides hands on experience with Labs. The class is very interactive and faculty is very friendly. Exams are held twice each semester one is mid semester exams and another is end semester exam.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Companies like zycus, swiggy, Intel, Tata Power provide internships to 4th year and 3rd year students are well as Mtech students Projects are assigned evey year and contain some credit and thus improves hands on knowledge in the subject.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements of our college are pretty high considering the companies that arrive here. The college is fairly new; thus, packages are increasing every year. And the highest package was 84 lacs, and the average is 17 lacs per annum. After completion of 4 years, students get placed through campus placements mostly. Companies like Intel, Samsung ,Swiggy , Zycus Tata Power, etc.,visit our college every year round 9999% of students get placed in CSE branch. plan to do an MBA after graduation from NIT Delhi.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is around 84000 (without reservation) each semester. And it depends on odd or even semester .Scholarships are available for financial aid. For parental income below 1 Lac ,the tuition fee iis 0,and similarly, some relaxation is provided for 1 Lac - 5 Lac.he 4 4-yearourse will cost me around 8 Lacs,nd there are banks educational loans at low intrest the college campus college is eligible for NSPs provided by the government India. Which may vary from 74074000 to 120000.re are PhD and Mtec in our college good stipends.

Campus Life

4.5

The college campus life is very chill and includes everything from gyms to cafeterias to canteens. It's very lively, and also the campus area looks spacey. Greenery is a major plus point. the college is relatively new providing the latest technologies and various facilities. The Classrooms are made like room is provided with digital bboards and a990-inchdisplay. Ragging is strictly prohibited ports events are regularly held and c basketball courts, and volleyball courts. Thus, every field of sport since it's in Delhi provides it an advantage. There are student help and therapeutic platforms run by students to help fellow students deal with their situations. And overall it's a very positive experience as a student.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There are both AC and non-AC rooms available. Rooms are shared between either 2, 3, or 4 roommates. The mess quality is pretty average, and the menu is written very well. The taste, I would say o7/10. he menu includes chole bhature, rice seasonal veg sabji, types of daal and channas, and also in snacks there samosa, chana chaat, Maggi noodles, etc, in dessert they provide ice cream, gulab jamun kheer, etc.he hostel is very much including all facilities worth it. Registration is done during the time of admission, and you have to pay the fees every semester.

Admission

The admission process in NIT Delhi was pretty much straightforward. For undergraduate courses in BTech, one can join through JEE MAINS exams after clearing the cut-off, which for my year was around 98.8 percentile in the CSE branch (OBC, Other State).JEE MAINS is conducted by NTA twice every year for 12th pass out students who wish engineering. You can find the application form to official site of NTA. The application fees id Rs 1000 per candidate (with out reservation benefits). opted for my branch (CSE) through OBC-NCL category and my JEE main percentile was 9898.8,nd my rank was around 15000. And my category rank was around 303000.e JEE MAIN exam is a bit tougher than boards and happens twice every year with the same syllabus as boards. And one can prepare using NCERT books have to submit required documents online and then report physically to college during the specified time. The admission process there on is pretty smooth going.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, with practical modules and industry-focused content that influenced my choice. It effectively bridges academic knowledge with real-world applications. However, adding more case studies and interdisciplinary approaches could enhance learning. Exams are well-timed but could better assess critical thinking. Teaching methods would benefit from integrating more interactive and hands-on sessions.
