The curriculum according to me is little tough but it highly depends on professor you'll get. Good things here is good number of holidays are there. 10 days of mid sem break after every 2 months is sufficient time to work on weak points. Exams here are comducted in this manner: 1 semester consists of quiz1+ Mid sem+ quiz2+ end sem.

The internship opportunities are notified to us by our seniors in our respective groups. One of our seniors cracked Flipkart Runway in her 2nd year. I found a majority of our seniors are placed in big MNCs like Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Meesho.

From 3rd year, companies start to come. Internship opportunities are at peak during this time. For girls there are opportunities from 2nd year as well. Our seniors generally notify us about these things.

The total fees of 1st semester is 103750. From second semester onwards the fee is 90250. The fees remain same for all the eight semesters. Mess fee is 15000 per semester which is optional. Some students prefer tiffin services or canteens for their meals. Despite this, scholarship options are there including MCM, Merit cum means scholarship. Some state level scholarships are also available.

The clubs here are exceptionally great. Provides great level of learning, self growth and personality development opportunities. All kinds of cultural clubs like Dramatics, Dance, Music, Literary and Quizzing are highly active. Technical clubs include Business and Management club, The programming club, Astronomy and Physics club, Aerofabrication club, Electronics and Robotics Society, E Cell provides great exposure for development. Sports club are also very active. These clubs keep on participating in national level events from all top IITs, NITs, IIITs and other premier institutes. Intra colleges competitions are fests are also good.

The rooms are good. For girls there are two hostels. Maa Saraswati and Nagarjuna. For boys there are four hostels. Aryabhatta, Vivekananda, Panini and Vashishtha. The rooms for girls are triple sharing for first 3 years in Btech. From second year, girls get single rooms. For boys, for the first two years, they also live in triple sharing room. From third year onwards they get single room. Hostels are compulsory here.

For admission in IIITDM Jabalpur, one needs to appear in JEE Mains exam. Minimum rank to get inside Mechanical Branch is close to 54000 for General Category male candidates and 69000 for General Category female candidates (for CSAB). The numbers are variable and depends upon competition level.
