Course Curriculum Overview

Cet is known for its reputable computer science engineering program, which is accredited by recognized bodies, ensuring the quality of education. The curriculum covers a wide range of subjects suck as programming languages, algorithms.... Providing a strong foundation in computer science.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 8650 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is different for different category students. Général students need to pay approximately 9k per year. And it becomes half for minority students and even lesser for sc/st. They are various scholarships available too.

Campus Life

Lot of clubs are available for almost all types of co curriculum. Infrastructures are quite good for use to all. Gymnasium are free for all students. College fests include disha for freshers and drishti and dhwani.

Admission

Eligibility:KEAM cee.kerala.gov.in-Every details could be found here including application form, application fees and dates as well as prospectus. Now the pattern has been changed to online mode from 2024 .... Like JEE with different shifts and days for the exam.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

Life at CET

This college is the best government college in Kerala. It has been consistently first in KIRF ranking. It has very cheap fees. The campus is very beautiful and spacious (about 200 acres). My best choice of colleges very IITs and NITs like most people. I couldn't crack JEE. I only applied to this college because I had very high ranking in KEAM exam and was confident of acceptance. KEAM exam is a lot easier to crack than JEE. It has basic higher secondary school syllabus. To get my course you would have to be around 700th rank. To get other courses in my college you can have rank as low as 20k....Read More
