Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is a bit hard but it prepares you for real world applications. In a semester we have 2 labs . Everything that we learn in the class is performed in the laboratories too .Thus it increases our practical knowledge. We have 1 semester exam and 2 internal exams

Cusat has wonderful placement opportunities. Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester onwards. Most of the students without arrears get placed. The average package offered is 12 lakh pa

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The course fee is quite affordable and their are scholarships and reservations for students from various castes. Campus employment opportunities are also available in our campus. The overall course fee is worth it.

Campus Life

University library provides accessibility to various kind of books . We also have another library for the engineering students and an extra library for electronics and communication students. Lot of fests happen here . Extracurricular activities are also provided and supported

Admission

To get into cusat you will have to write an entrance examination called cusat cat . The admission will be based on the rank obtained. A rank close to 1000 would be needed to get into electronics and communication. The admission procedure involves 3 allotments , a real time allotment and maybe some spot admission

there are placements in every years but not every one gets it. because every one has less skills rather than coomparing their marks.becuase of their lacking of skills they have ended up being placed undeer companies which offer less salary.but some got good options also.and my collge is in a rural ares so not so many companies gets here

Pros and cons of NIT CALICUT

Placement Experience:

Qualcomm, ibs,Infosys etc visits. Highest package was 55 lakhs. Average package is 20 lakhs. Nearly 100 % placement in computer science engineering. After degree joining get a job through campus placement.

The college have good number of students placed.

First of all good aspects is that if you want any PSU from other branches then u have to face gate exam but from safety and fire PSU direct recruit the students. The bad aspect is the little bit of language problem. Admission process first of result is declared then a date has been declared for choosing the branches according to preferences then after 1 round start if you allotted seat then u have to pay 44000 and have to go Kochi for the admission. And if you didn't get the branch that u want then you also u have to pay the fee because it has 4 rounds and two special then wait for the next round if branch upgrade then it's ok otherwise u tell them for a refund. my admission date is 17 June 2019.
