Course Curriculum Overview

First and second semester of college had a basic curriculum. They teach basic things like civil, mechanics etc. from third sem onwards , we began studying core subjects . It was easy since teachers in rajagiri teaches well

College provides many internship opportunities. should follow some procedures if you need internship from company not suggested by college. College also provides leave to complete internship. College also allows paid internships.

Placement Experience

Our college has 100 percentage placements. The placement cell from our college is brilliant .my plan after getting a degree is to get a job. Then do my masters.the average package as per company is like 100000

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is same for all eight semesters, which is 75000. We have to pay quotient deposit of 100000, before first semester. Scholarships are available for economically backwards students. Scholarship are also available for academically bright students

Campus Life

Campus life is cool. We have freedom. The classrooms are well occupied with latest technology. There are many labs related to every department. There are many clubs within college which help students to get along with another students

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good . A room consist of 2 or 3 students. Each student is given with a bed and study table.hostel food is of good quality.register process for hostel is simple. We need to fill a form from college website.

Hostel Fee: INR 92000 per year

Admission

Admission process had 2 parts. We can get the application form and stuff from college website.I got placed in college during first allotment. The cutoff was 4500 .overall the admission process was easy . You have to come to college twice during admission or process

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

The college is in a prime location in the heart of kochi. It has easy access to all emergency services and to the town in general. It is a famous college known for its reputation and legacy. Rajagiri Engineering college where engineers are built

I did write the exam for SRM and VIT but then since I wanted to study in kerala I chose rajagiri school of engineering and technology. Also rajagiri is a well reputed college which produces excellent engineers with innovative ideas, I wanted to study and build my career here.
