Course Curriculum Overview

It is the same curriculum based on other nit's. Almost all the Nit's have same curriculum over others Every professor here is highly talented and experienced But due to outdated syllabus may be the students are getting bored to it.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

An average student has to pay around 2L per year, 62500 tuition fee per semester and 32500 for hostel fee per semester .The SC ST category have fees waiver. Whereas the DBC category can go for scholarship available.

Campus Life

The freshers have a lot of new experience as the college conducts many fests like sparsh- non technical event and mindbend - technical event and events for fun .The huge campus makes you feel embarrassed. One can enjoy their college life if they are participated in any clubs.

Admission

A student can get into an iit through JEE Mains exams once clearing it . He/she can go for josaa/csab /dasa cousenlling. After getting admission here. The student need to physically appear in reporting days. The admission process proceeds as it was mentioned in the official website.

Placement Experience:

I am in my 7th semester and I was asked to apply. After beging rejected from two I was still provided the opportunity and in 4th attempt I finally made it. Likewise every student is provided ample chances and mostly in penultimate semester around 70% students are placed. Rest all get one final chance in the massive placements activity in the final semester.

Placement of Ec are too high and nice : go for it

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester student get eligible for placements. Highest package was of 38 lpa Lowest package was of 10 lpa Average package is 15 lpa . This data is from last year . Placements are nice and good . I want the placements after degree. Average 92 % students get placed last year .

Inside SVNIT: A students’s UNFILTERED view

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. And talking about my branch , there are various companies around my home town . Generally SVNIT accepts the admission on the basis of JEE MAINS score. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
