Course Curriculum Overview

This course is a relatively newer course at our college.This course focuses on various newer technologies along with some fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering. The classes along with frequency of the exams are not that hectic at most times.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities in our college are fairly good. Students based on their interests do internships on their respective fields either in core or software field.Various companies give internships opportunities to students of our college based on their academic performance

Placement Experience

The placements in our college are very good when compared to other IIITs. The placements are being offered by various companies in both core and computer fields. Mostly students start getting placements from 3rd and 4th Year onwards. The highest package received by a student in our college was 1.22 Cr

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college is one of the five Government funded IIITs in India and hence it's fees are less compared to other IIITs in India.Students can apply and avail various scholarships based on their academic excellence.

Campus Life

The campus life in our college is good.There are various places to hangout in the college.There are various clubs including sports and technical clubs.There are dedicated clubs for coding,robotics and sports like cricket and football.There are good library facilities and computer centre in this college.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities in our college are fine, all essential things have been provided.The mess quality is ok with students having option to choose between veg and non veg food.The registration process for the hostel was very smooth.My hostel also has facilities like canteen,badminton court, tv room and table tennis room

The admission to this college was done on the basis of JEE Exam scores.Students then had to go through JOSAA or CSAB seat allocation to attain a seat at this college.The higher your percentile the more is your chance is to get a seat in this college

I would to rate the course curriculum at Chameli devi group of institution around 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. They affiliated by Rajiv Gandhi proudyogiki vishwavidyalaya. It builds strong theoretical foundations usefull for competitive exam and higher studies, but industry - oriented skills required. They want to focus on pratical learning. Exams are conducted twice per semester ( mid sem or end sem ) with moderate difficulty.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we can go for internships and apply for placements. The institute stated that highest package was 44LPA and avg is 5.4LPA. I would plan to pursue a higher degree like Mtech or just opt for some job experience.

An overview of life at NMIMS Indore

Placement Experience:

The campus placement has a average package of 6-8 LPA. From 7th sem onwards the students are suppose to enroll in internships and are provided offer letter for recruitment if fulfills the requirements. There are various companies that are welcomed by NMIMS every year, it included TCS, INFOSYS, HCL, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA and etc. facilities state that there have been cases of companies offering more than 30 LPA but student could not crack it. Moreover from past 6 months there have been a change in the college where there has been tremendous focus on placement preparation where the respected associate dean and many other faculties provide different insights and tasks for placement preparation. I dont have the stats of highest LPA or so, my plans after getting the degree is to seek on campus placement.

Know before you go.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year campus placements begin. Tata consultancy and various mass recruiters visit the college. I'm not so sure about it but product based companies visit too. Highest package was around 24 lacs per annum and average, I guess, is around 6 lacs/ annum. A lot of students get placements through college campus placements. We have training and placements department which starts working on students from the very starting to make them eligible for placements. The placements ratio is good so far. I'm not into private sector so I don't have any plans for college placements afterwards.

I got admission in college thourough Jee Mains Examination. First I appeared in Jee Mains Examination Then after the result of Jee Mains Examination I registered on mp online and gone thourough its counseling process by choice filling of college. After counseling we have to go to college for further admission process.

Life as a Student of IIITDM Jabalpur

I wanted a National college which should be government, according to my rank in JEE Mains I was getting other Nits and iiits and also some state government colleges but i preferred this because it is in my home city jabalpur No i didn't got any rejections i applied to because this college was my fiest priority and according to my interest. According to your JEE mains rank when you are selected in this college by Jossa/Csab counselling Online physical reporting is done first then within 10-15 days you have to physically report to the college, after it you are alloted your respective hostel to live and from next week classes get started My overall admission experience was really very good, it was my dream college You have to achieve rank under 1.5 lakhs to get admission here if you are from obc category For general category you have to achieve rank under 70000 to come here For sc/st candidates you have to achieve rank under 2 lakhs to come to this college as per previous year cutoff...Read More
