The ambience and facilities are good and the tech fest and programs
The classes and labs including workshops internships
They provide freedom for everything to ask and freely ask

Dislikes

College and hostel distance is more its difficult
Mess food is not satisfactory and has given many complaints
Filter is not working and its difficult to get water in hostel

Course Curriculum Overview

Btech civil provides more opportunities in many construction companies through placements and government jobs too. They provide us lab sections,internship, workshops etc for practical knowledge. The duration for semester can be made long for appropriate completion of subjects and lab.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year we can attend placement interview. Construction companies like l and T etc. About more than 70 percent is getting placed. My plan after degree is mtech or placement . And to write Gate exm

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees and exam fees are according to the reservation category. It provides scholarships also.so that many students can afford to study. A total of 8000 nearly is there as fees. For those in hostel they many increase. Many central and state scholarships are there like e grants, semens etc.

Campus Life

My college conducts dyuthi the national tech fest every year. Library has many books including references, text books, guides etc. Classrooms are large and have proper ventilation and lighting.they also provide sports,arts etc.there are many clubs too.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are good. But filter and washroom facilities may not be working sometimes. Food is not satisfactory. Hostel admissions are through college website.the locality is near to college only. Admissions are taken every year.

Hostel Fee: INR 4200 per year

Admission

The admission process was through keam entrance exam. I opted for civil engineering and its eligibility is +2. The application form and further details are in college's official website. Those having reservations get fee concessions for tuition fee, hostel fee and mess fees. The exams are conducted according to ktu timetables and calendars. There is a long queue during the admissions process which can be changes by putting more faculties in charge.

the course , the first year its easy syllabus , its just basics based on what you learned in high school , but in a more advanced way. the only flaw in the curriculm is the lack of application level questions all the exams are just theory based questions

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

I didn't really choose this college, particularly over some other college.
