Likes

Sports clubs are very much enthusiastic and Very disciplined clubs
Seniors are very good and interactive,They guide in every aspect of academic,fun
Academics curriculum is vey best according to me and we can score maximum

Dislikes

Mess foods are little exciting at start but slowly you'll be disliking it
Security system is too harsh on freshers as they won't allow to roam outside the campus
Admission process was little difficult in the start of college

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is nice, The teachings faculty are experienced and skilled. Their curriculum is same as the IITs . It gives a real world applications by the practicals and prepare well for the core department or It department . I don't there is any problem to improve in Teaching methods. The frequency and timing of exams are hectic but we get used to it and difficulty are reduced after every exams

Placement Experience

The placements are rapidly increased by the years and the highest package is 82 Lpa and average is around 20Lpa Beside these, There are internship opportunities from where some students get placed easily. approx 90% students get placed. It companies are more in placementz rounds .My plans is for higher studies as I wanted to go in research field

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure contains Tuition fees + Hostel fees +Mess fees Fee structure is in order There are scholarship like MCM and NSP given on the rank of jee /or CPI basis The total cost of fees are approx 100000/semester Tuition fees are exempted for Sc/St and Pwd

Campus Life

The overall experience is joyful. There are many clubs for different purposes like Technical clubs , Cultural clubs ,Sports club There are lot of opportunities in these clubs. Many events are organised by these clubs .

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good. Every facilities are provided to have better accomodation. The Hostels here are registered by Institute. everyone has got thier room by the reporting time. There is canteen in each hostel and provide average food items. Meal quality is good and Mess is outside the Hostel and Mess menu is good

Hostel Fee: INR 11000 per year

Admission

The admission was based on percentile scored in JEE mains For Applying there are counselling service like Josaa in which applicants has to fill the form and do the choice filling Then candidates will get their seats by their category rank basis in their category. Seats are reserved for open,open-ews,obc ,Sc/St,Pwd candidates The eligibility is to clear the cutoffs of Jee to participate in process. The areas which needs improvement is the server ,Server is not responding at time which results in loss of the student

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

Deom semester 2 students can avail for internship and from semester 4 students can avial for placements There are several companies like accentire, Infosys, tcs, learn flu, pcs pvt ltd, advikait, internslite, blucurcursor, rackbank etc It make about 280 offers The highest package is 11 lpa and average is 4 lpa 70 percent students get placed

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. I got an offer at cognizant during my college so currently I am not looking for the higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

In the last year or 7th semester you will be able to attend campus recruitment and get placed in a reputed company. Last year there was approx 100+ company comes to the college for recruiting students. Last year their highest package is approx 10LPA and a minimum of 4LPA. Approx 80% of students are getting placed till last year and some of them are working in MNCs right now and some of them are opening their startups. After graduation, I decided to pursue higher studies abroad.

Life as a Student of IIITDM Jabalpur

I wanted a National college which should be government, according to my rank in JEE Mains I was getting other Nits and iiits and also some state government colleges but i preferred this because it is in my home city jabalpur No i didn't got any rejections i applied to because this college was my fiest priority and according to my interest. According to your JEE mains rank when you are selected in this college by Jossa/Csab counselling Online physical reporting is done first then within 10-15 days you have to physically report to the college, after it you are alloted your respective hostel to live and from next week classes get started My overall admission experience was really very good, it was my dream college You have to achieve rank under 1.5 lakhs to get admission here if you are from obc category For general category you have to achieve rank under 70000 to come here For sc/st candidates you have to achieve rank under 2 lakhs to come to this college as per previous year cutoff...Read More
