Likes

The things I personally liked about the college is friendly seniors, there is no ragging in campus, senior's are very polite.
Second thing is the quality education. The professors are highly qualified and works with full passion
Extra curricular activities :- each and every sports have its own ground wheather it is indoor or outdoor .

Dislikes

Every college have pros and cons . I think 75 % attendance is mandatory for examination
Hostel buildings are too much old . There should be some new hostels constructed
The quality of food must be improved in hostel mess

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical and production engineering labs are very well maintained. I also Heard on interest that NIT Kurukshetra is doing well in the field of production engineering. The placement percentage is above 95 percent. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate. You can start your studies 1 week before the sessional exams.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure:- 90-95 thousand per semester plus 30 thousand mess charges also. No Tution fee for SC ST students and general category students who have an income less than 1 lakh per annum. Various Scholarships are available such as single girl child have not to pay any fees.

Campus Life

NIT Kurukshetra has a lot of clubs and societies Societies including mechsoc, technobyte, microbus, erak, infra. For different branches, different different societies are there. A lot of clubs are also there, Cultural clubs such as Anamika Hindi Society and Rooh Club provide free education for economically weaker children. NCC club, NSS, and COLOURS are about mental health, All kinds sport's are there in campus, there is a lot of great work in the field of extracurricular activities

Admission

There is a physical reporting at NIT Kurukshetra. You have to bring all the necessary documents such as the 10th , and 12th marksheet, jee main scorecard, and aadhar card. Cut-off above 96 percentile. The admission process is very smooth. The admission cell behavior was very good

A walk through Nit kurukshetra

I choose this college cause, I am interested in this branch and I don't have any prior interest in any particular colleges, in this college I am getting the particular branch I am interested in,while there are few colleges which are providing me same branch but they have some limitations like there infrastructure is bad or crowd is not that wonderful like here people are generous and motivated you can't find the same everywhere. Good college for electrical

The admission is only based on JEE Mains Rank. This is a decent college and thus requires decent ranks for good courses. JEE is conducted nationwide by the NTA every year. The process was smooth. You have to first select colleges. You get an allotment and then you verify the docs....Read More
