The course curiculum has changed now .now we have the cbme curriculum which gives us more exposure to clinics and practical knowledge which is pretty good.and we have back to back exams since now we have continuous assessemment now other than Posting exams and internal exams. And lot of assignment projects and Sdl and sgd sessions.this often gives a hectic schedule which is something thay have to be looked upon ..

Internships Opportunities

4

Usually after completing mbbs of 4.5 years students are eligible for internship im our college itself with a monthly stipend.they have Posting in different departments. And have a good clinical experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

Durng the admission time other Than the tution fees of 25000 we have to pay for pta ,library, maintanance fees etc.Hostel fees per year is 12000 .The only scholarship I was eligible for was egrabtz for obf students .Bt till now the scholarship fund have not been granted even after one year of application

Hostel facilities are comparatively poor. For first years and second years in ladies Hostel each room has 6 accomdated without sufficient study tables nad chairs and lack of space is also a problem in hostel room.common study hall is there

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a bit tough rather than other courses (professional courses) MBBS is a 4 year course with 1 year compulsory internship dealing with a total of 13-4 subject over the 4 years The curriculum prepares us for the real world experiecne but more often the clinical subjects aim in patuent student interaction that overall help in the achievemnt of professionalism The frequency if exams are very high as there needs to be regular revision of subjects in order to prepare for the finals and perfect in all clinical theory and oractical aspects

Reviewed on Nov 30, 2024(Enrolled 2021)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is of high relevance as it ensures that the student learns everything he need to learn in an mbbs life to become a good doctor. The curriculum we are now following is decided by the National Medical Council (NMC) of India and is CBME curriculum. The curriculum include many Self directed learning methods and small group discussions etc which makes the learning interesting and easy. The curriculum definitely prepares the students to become a good doctor in future. Some minute improvements are still required like no need of these many SGDs for community medicine and forensic. It'll be better to include more field activities in community medicine . The frequency and timing of exams are sometimes a burden for the students as the exams are so close and they are not getting enough time to improve themselves which may affect their confidence. Sometimes the exams are scheduled in between some meets conducted by university which makes it difficult for the students to participate.
