Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fees is around 50k for first year and then 25k for the upcoming years. You can avail a lot of scholarships based on your reservation criteria. You start getting your stipend in your final year and further employment is based on various exams.

Campus Life

The campus life is one of the most cherished one. You start realizing your inner talents and try to involve in various activities. It's true that you have a lot to study,but various clubs,elections and many non heard fun activities are the ones that's gonna stay forever.

My admission process was smoothly done but it requires a lot of document works. Course eligibility-12th graduate You will get all the necessary document details, forms, and dates from various sources. The exam is conducted annually and at noon. My dream college in reality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is of high relevance as it ensures that the student learns everything he need to learn in an mbbs life to become a good doctor. The curriculum we are now following is decided by the National Medical Council (NMC) of India and is CBME curriculum. The curriculum include many Self directed learning methods and small group discussions etc which makes the learning interesting and easy. The curriculum definitely prepares the students to become a good doctor in future. Some minute improvements are still required like no need of these many SGDs for community medicine and forensic. It'll be better to include more field activities in community medicine . The frequency and timing of exams are sometimes a burden for the students as the exams are so close and they are not getting enough time to improve themselves which may affect their confidence. Sometimes the exams are scheduled in between some meets conducted by university which makes it difficult for the students to participate.

Calicut Medical College - an ideal place to learn and grow as a doctor

I got admission on state quota (general category) after giving the NEET exam in 2019. I scored 646/ 720 and had an AIR rank of 1039 and state rank of 131. The overall application process was easy and all the necessary forms were given in the college itself. The admission dates were informed in the state website of Kerala, which can be found after filling the application for state quota. Application fees was paid in the college treasury itself.
