Course Curriculum Overview

For the first year, all btech branches have the same syllabus and curriculum, therefore the course for 1st year does not have much relavence with the branch of choice but has the advantage of giving info about all the other branches and fields.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Scolarships are given to students who either score 9.5 or above cgpa Or have rank below 1000 in the entrance exam. In 3rd and 4th year, on campus placements are available along with variety of internships.

Campus Life

Though a great campus life experience, the weather's unpredictable nature can be quite irritating. The faculty is easy to talk to even available in the off hours for the help of students , specially during exams. Sports and clubs are a big part ot kiit

Hostels for boys are seperated for 1st years and from 2nd year to 4th year, the seperation is on the basis or branch. With a variety of options available for students like, AC, NonAC, 2 seater, 3 seater, premium and non premium, one can choose room as per thier comfortablility

Kiit uses 2 ways for admission, 1st been through jee and 2nd being through the entrance exam called kiitee. I gave the 2nd batch paper of kiitee 2023 and scored 97 percentile with the rank ot 1017. The overall experience of admission was decent

Students become eligible for placements from the third year itself. In this placement season more than 90 percent of the eligible students got placed in several companies. I am in my final year and 80% of my classmates including me are already placed. All top MNCs comes to our campus and currently most students are placed in the ranked of 10-20 LPA of CSE branch and top placement was of 52 LPA.

So talking about placements then the placement trainings get started from your 5th sem onwards and you will be trained upon diff params and from 7th sem onwards campus drives gets started and around 30 companies visits each year and all the mncs comes for campus drives starting from pwc , Deloitte , accenture to tcs , infosys and ibm . Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.
