Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum isn't that updated.Syllabus is little bit outdated and there are many useless things.There some new topics.Exams helps us to develop ourselves.From this year onwards there will be new syllabus which will be more useful.

Internships Opportunities

College helps us to get internships and will train us.Tcs , Zoho , and many other startup companies provide internships ,some of the students placements after there internships.Computer science major students got more chance for internships.There will be paid internships.

Placement Experience

Placements are ok in campus.Placements starts from third year. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Google, meta, and many other companies visit college.College also provide placement support cell.They will provide us training.Also internship opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

A regular student has to pay around 9000rs per year as tution fee.There will be other fees like exam fee,pta and some other fees.Fee structure is same as that of a government college.It is cheap considering other colleges.College provide many scholarships and will support people who can't pay fees.For under caste students the fees is very low.There won't be any exam fee and tution fee is near 1000rs per year.

Campus Life

Campus Life is ok here.Infrastructure provide is very nice we have different labs and workshops full of equipments and new labs are being constructed.There is big central library available for students and apart from that there are department libraries.College is full of active clubs and many of the clubs are on top of many events conducted by IEEE and same,etc.

Admission

Admission process was simple.We have to give KEAM exam to apply in the college and cutoff rank was around 2000 without reservation.We can apply through cee portal.After 2nd allotment we have to go to college and secure our seat.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

nehru has implemented placement traninng from the start of the course itself, from first year itself we get to placement classes which made us adapt and get to know how interviews are conducted. from 4th year onwards i think students are eligible for placements and more than 75% of students gets placed every year

Navigating MACE: A student's journer Through Campus Life, Academics and Oppurtunities.

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for its autonomous status. This allows MACE to have more current and industry relevent curiculum unlike colleges with fixed university syllabus. Admission to MACE was based on keam rank. Although I had a good rank, it wasnt high enough to get my preferred branch in NIT calicut or CET.
