Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS course is really tough. The syllabus for all subjects are very vast and difficult. MBBS all over India is following CBME curriculum. CBME is a new curriculum implemented in 2019. CBME focus on competency based learning and thereby improving clinical and practical knowledge in students. But it not effective enough and end up in putting more work and pressure on students.

Internships Opportunities

Intership is called House Surgency. Internship is started after passing the 4th year examinations. We work in our college hospital for 1 year. Stipend per month is around 27,000. Workload os very high during intership period. Also preparation for PG entrance exams will be very difficult in House Surgency period.

Fees and Financial Aid

For admission it takes almost 40 to 50 thousands rupees for tuition fees,other college fees(like PRA fund,hostel fees,miscellaneous fees) Tuition fees/year almost equals 25,000. Hostel fees/year around 9000. Miscellaneous fees/ year around 5000. Mess fees/ month 3000 Books price varies depending on subjects, publishers. Used books and pdfs are easily available.

Campus Life

Interbatch sports and arts festivals are conducted annuallybin our college in april ,may months. University level competition for arts and sports are conducted every year. University level competition are conducted in 2 level. 1st a zonals and then interzonals. Sports is well encouraged in our college. Also facilities for every sports event, gym and synthetic track are also available. Palliative Care Units are very active in our college. NSS is also active in our college.

Hostel Facilities

3 hostels for UG men 3 Hostels for UG women 1 hostel for interns(mixed) 2 hostels for Post Graduates Single/double/triplet/quadruple room are available in men's hostel. We have an elected mess and hostel secretary in every hostels. Mess is conducted by students itself. Food is very good in our hostel. Hostel rent is 80 rupees per month.

Admission

Need to crack NEET exam Cut off marks for general is 660+ NEET exam is a very competitive. We need to dedicate ourselves each and every day for our studies. NEET exam is out of 720 marks. Approximately 20 lakhs aspirants are appearing for NEET exam. From which less than 30,000 students get admission to Government Medical Colleges. It takes a day for admission. We need to take all necessary documents for admission procedure.

Admission:

Admission is given based on entrance examination. I am doing my MBBS course from this college. I got admission in this college through NEET entrance examination. After clearing NEET, I applied with my score in counseling, and got admission in this college by my score. We must have studied Physics, Chemistry and biology in 12th and must have completed 17 years of age.

Admission:

So, in order to get admitted, one needs to be either 17 or more in age. It holds some general basic necessities that all colleges demand like (10+2) cbse or equivalent exam degree. And you need to score more than 50% aggregate in PCB / Biotech combined. For admission in UG courses, candidates can apply through their NEET UG medical scorecard. Aspirants need to clear the stated cutoff percentile in order to qualify. Candidates can check the expected cutoff percentile in the year of examination in order to prepare accordingly for their respective categories( general, SC/ST, OBC). A candidate can visit the official portal of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala to get themselves registered for NEET 2020 Kerala State Counselling. Counselling of NEET 2020 for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. The counselling will consist of these steps. 1. Registering to the official website. 2. You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock-in the preferences in the online portal. 3. The seat allotment will be published online on the basis of available vacancies and candidate’s choices. 4. Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round, will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities. 5.
