Course Curriculum Overview

The college is one of the important colleges in Kerala. That provide better education. The department keeps us to study in the way of placement oriented type. They provide extra courses like python for 1 St sem. The ktu syllabus is older syllabus comes under apj abdul kalam University. So the study is not bookish . The exam timing with 3 hours for each subject

Placement Experience

The college also a well popular placement and the college provide better placement for students who have better skills. The companies like cognizant and TCS , tech Mahindra and other popular leading companies. They giving a highest package of 33 lpa for a studnent in the year of 2022. The average lpa is 4 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee policy comes with the amount of 9500 amount per student . The management student should pay the donation also. We should also pay the PTA and other charges of the college like lab and other the college .college provide scholarship like pta scholarship egrantz and other scholarship.

Campus Life

The college fest comes with takshak and sanskriti . Which is typically held on November and April. The college also have a good library facilities and well maintained book rack. The college classroom is also well maintained. The college not all approve sports and other activities. The student run group like jaalakam ,takshak , Sanskriti,nss and other technical like tinker hub and other groups.

Hostel Facilities

The college hostel is well maintained and have a very good menu. The menu comes with idli ,dosa and other Kerala traditional food. The college also provide good food during ramadan also. The registation and other details will be available on college website.the college is affordable compared to the other pg hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

Admission

The keam entrance exam is the eligibility course of the examination .the application form will be published on the 2 week before the examination. The fees of the exam is the about 1000 rupees. The frequency of exam comes with the timing of 6hours 3 hours for mathematics and 3 hours for physics and chemistry . The exam is pretty easy compared to other exams.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Navigating MACE: A student's journer Through Campus Life, Academics and Oppurtunities.

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for its autonomous status. This allows MACE to have more current and industry relevent curiculum unlike colleges with fixed university syllabus. Admission to MACE was based on keam rank. Although I had a good rank, it wasnt high enough to get my preferred branch in NIT calicut or CET. One of the best government aided college

I chose this college considering the distance from my home. Good facilities and the environment of the college. This college supports extracurricular activities.
