Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the course influenced me a lot to choose this course. I understood that by persuming data science i can get a better carrier in computer fields. Teaching methods are okay and can be accepted. By including more specific details can attract more students to it.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee is 9650 per year . But by all additional bills would sum up to 10000. The course is for 4 years so i have to pay this amount in every years..After including service fees etc would sum up to 25000 per year. There are many scholarships like egrants for financialy backward students.

Campus Life

When it comes to events and fest my college is far better compared to others. There are 2 main events in our college. Thakshak, a technical fest and Sanskriti a cultural fest. Thakshak is held on november and sanskriti on april.

Admission

The admission process was a lenghty process.i took the entrance exam keam to reach in this college. The entrance exam was a high competative one.I somehow managed to crack it and got admission in Mar Athanasius College Of Engineering, Kothamangalam. In my admission year i think the cutoff for this course in my college is above 6000 rank for OBC caste.Data science is a fantastic course and promise a better future career. You can find the application form and date for keam exam in the internet. It was held on july last year.. Keam exam contains a total of 240 questions of 960 marks .By cracking it you can get admissions in top engineering colleges in kerala. The admission process was a bit complicated one which students find it difficult to catch up with it and i suggest to make it simpler

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

Navigating MACE: A student's journer Through Campus Life, Academics and Oppurtunities.

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for its autonomous status. This allows MACE to have more current and industry relevent curiculum unlike colleges with fixed university syllabus. Admission to MACE was based on keam rank. Although I had a good rank, it wasnt high enough to get my preferred branch in NIT calicut or CET.
