KIIT UNIVERSITY honest review

I would like to give a big thumbs up to the curriculum I chose. Computer science and systems engineering is a fast growing course in the market which lands you in the best software companies. Faculty members are well educated from top universities of India and they provide you with immense work experience and knowledge.

Internship is not provided through college. Students from 3rd year should apply themselves to internships for better placements. Internship can help a lot for a better package and looks extremely good on a resume.

Students become eligible for campus placements since 6th semester. Various companies like TCS,Wipro, Accenture, Flipkart etc. Highest package was around 48 lakhs and average package is 7 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students getting placed is around 89%.

The free structure for my course that is CS&SE is as follows: ?200000 per semester as tuition fees. ?50000 per semester as hostel fees. ?22500 per semester as mess fees. Scholarship is available based on the entrance examination marks.

The campus life is vibrant and enthusiastic. Kiitfest takes place in February in which different singers are welcomed. More than 30000 books are available in the Central library of Kiit. Along with central library, there are departmental libraries available in every campus. There are 20+ clubs in the college which builds up your attitude and hobbies towards life.

I have opted for a 3 bedded Ac room. The room is provided with a study table, chair,wardrobe, 3 charging points, a mirror. The mess food is nice and healthy. Non veg is 5 times a week consisting of chicken,fish and eggs.

The admission process was smooth and effective. The admission is granted on the basis on JEE MAINS percentile or the entrance examination. The entrance exam is held in two phases and the difficulty level is easy to moderate. Syllabus is provided in the college site.
