Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is quite interesting as well as boring at the same time. First year syllabus is purely introductary where we study all the engineering courses. Some of the subject seemed irrelevant initially, but gradually understood about its importance.

Class Size: 61Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is 15000 per year. Hostel fee changes accordingly, but about 7200 on average. As I am not eligible for any of the scolarships, I am not much aware about that. I am an nss member and works for blood donation.

Campus Life

The tech fest of MA college of engineering is named as TAKSHAK , which occurs in the month of November. SANSKRITI is the arts festival of the college, which happens in the month of April. Library is filled with various copies of useful journals.

Admission

The admission process was fair. Apartment from the long queue for the process of payment in the college, every other process was well managed. I got about 4508 rank on writing KEAM entrance examination and got govt. seat in the college.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

Navigating MACE: A student's journer Through Campus Life, Academics and Oppurtunities.

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for its autonomous status. This allows MACE to have more current and industry relevent curiculum unlike colleges with fixed university syllabus. Admission to MACE was based on keam rank. Although I had a good rank, it wasnt high enough to get my preferred branch in NIT calicut or CET.
